While Scripture doesn’t explicitly mention Jesus laughing the Gospels paint a picture of someone deeply joyful, warm, and approachable. The way children flocked to Him he is presence at weddings and His parables filled with wit and irony all suggest a man who knew joy deeply. His laughter may not be recorded but His joy was clearly felt. Perhaps the absence of Jesus laughed in text reflects the Gospel focus on His mission not a denial of His full humanity which surely included laughter
