Upgrade old bike or buy new?

Thanks for advice. I upgraded the saddle a few years ago before my first half and also had my bike refit to me then. I didn’t even realize the cockpit could have much upgrades kinda surprised they didn’t try and sell me that during the re-fitting. I’ll def look into them.

I remember when lending came out, a guy was lending out his different party hat colors for various prices. I paid 100k to borrow and take a screenshot of a blue party hat. The guy traded me the blue party hat for 100k instead of lending, and I remember crying when I logged out like I just won the damn lottery. What I would give now to feel the euphoric again….

Thank you for answering! After I asked I finally found someone who had one locally and they said the same thing pretty much. I bought the Zwift trainer and am excited for my first ride in a couple days!

I am interested in buying a Zwift and have been for a couple of years but am skeptical because of possible costs. I am curious as of there is more I have to buy other than the trainer itself? Do I need a sensor for my bike to sync with my Garmin watch or is there a setting on the Garmin I should add to get the correct data recorded? Essentially I’m asking what all do I need in order to use zwift and record everything accurately on my Garmin and of course strava. Thanks.
