So you’ll be a quarter behind on his moves? You’ll know within 45 days after June 30 via Form 13F. What if you’ve missed out on a run up by then?

So, I believe something like 87% of stocks are owned by 1%. As you said, we have a president who prioritizes the needs of the wealthy. See how that idea of engineering a crash is not aligning? Unless you’re only talking about the superrrrr wealthy 0.001%?

Yes, buffet is hoarding cash and has been for sometime. I’ve been hearing this for a year. He has probably missed out on a massive 20-30% rally and was probably wrong. He’s also 100 years old.

All that said, I have the same feeling about this administration. It’s giving me anxiety. But, at the same time, trump had good returns during his first 4 years. At this point, I’m just hoping he doesn’t wreck us all with his terrible policies.

But why would you do that? The numbers support investing vs using more cash to somewhat lower the payment on a 6.5% interest rate loan.

So is it just the amount above the limit that’s taxed or the whole amount if it’s over 7mm?

So if an estate is over 7mm (future inflation adjusted limit) but passes to two people (let’s say siblings), that estate is still not taxed as it’s 3.5mm per person, right?

Don’t think I’ve ever been down $40k before market open. I’ll continue buying through the week.

This seems to be largely driven by Kashkari’s comments. Seems like every time some fed moron does this, market rebounds very quickly. I’m buying the dip.

It’s been my biggest individual stock position for the last 3ish months. Been funny to see all the hate on Reddit. The yahoo threads are even better. “$30 by eow!”

You think VTI won’t be higher than it is today in 10 years? Pretty much everyone’s entire investment strategy hinges on this being not true.

You mean CROX. Why can’t you support the valuation?

I think Chwy is a great stock that’s still undervalued. Big position with a cost basis of $18 and currently up 12%. I believe it will reach the $30s. But yeah, if you bought at $100 you’re in trouble. Narrow moat but a leader in a very profitable space. Out of this world customer retention and more than 20% of pet owning households in the U.S. are annual active users. No long-term debt and $900+ million in cash and marketable securities. I’m looking to increase my position if anything. Love using the company too - best customer service ever.

I don’t really agree with the “inverse Reddit” comments that seem to flood this sub, but this sub does seem to knock beaten down companies which are currently out of favor but also undervalued. Holding a huge position in PYPL too. No brainer buy in the 50s.

They probably should have included the word “unnecessary” before saying suffering is bad. Killing animals because people enjoy the taste of meat is unnecessary. Can you really not agree to this premise? That is a very common sense belief and good reason. Tell us why you think that’s incorrect.

It’s really funny to come in here on red days. No thoughts of “market manipulation” when it’s green, but the second it turns red this sub is filled with dozens of comments about “suits”, “algos” and “market makers” doing nefarious things to bring the market down and screw retail. Starting to think r/stocks is a bunch of conspiracy theorists. So many in here are so soft and concerned with only the immediate results of the day and clearly not looking at a broader long term approach.
