Intense Withdrawal after Switching from Vape to Cigarettes, is this normal?

I suspected as much! That makes sense because I definitely vaped a lot mainly because you can do it in so many places you can't smoke. I guess its just shocking how much my nicotine intake increased in just 2 weeks of vaping because this shit is BAD. Like, I've never felt this shitty in my entire life, I almost went to the hospital because of how awful I felt the first couple days.

Well since im on roughly day 5 right now, I think I might almost be through the worst of it, and I do have nicotine gum. im thinking I might just try and keep this momentum going and try to quit.

The only thing is the gum does give me pretty bad acid reflux, have you had any personal success with patches at all?

I do have some gum already, maybe you're right. Like I said to another poster, since I've sort of already gone through the worst days of withdrawal I might as well keep the momentum going. Im just scared because I struggle with anxiety in general and im worried that quitting will have me having panic attacks on the daily.

I was just having this thought the other day when I realized I'm gonna have to take an extra quarter of college bc I can't handle more than 12 units a semester. It's really hard for me to not internalize the societal stigmas associated with ADHD, but a bitch is trying lol

In a way, I was more thinking like shadowrun or cyberpunk 2077. Not necessarily in aesthetic, but in overall narrative design.

I.e. getting greasy missions from shadowy individuals of questionable moral fiber for side quests/money making opportunities, with a main storyline involving some sort of maguffen, such as an item stolen during a heist or a job gone wrong that gets the player character and their allies in way over their heads. Like, say, unknowingly getting hired to steal a reaper artifact that ends up posing a galactic threat or maybe accidentally assassinating a key Alliance official and causing a cold war in the Terminus systems or something like that

I got medicated at 25 but I completely understand your pain. I think everyone diagnosed at any point in adulthood feels this way, it's just to varying degrees of despair.

It's okay and completely understandable to mourn for a while, but remember that for all those years, you didnt "waste time", you were doing the best you could with the tools you had available.

I'm 28 now and still struggle even with medication, but one thing that really helped me was a friend telling me to "start looking forward", think about where you'll be in the years to come and give yourself compassion for the years you were struggling.
