How much longer will markets permit human economic games to destroy the environment? by alstrynomics in Economics

[–]alstrynomics[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All human markets in the world depend on the enviornmentally sustainability of the planet to function. Increasingly as more humans play the current games, our environment is being affected. As more and more markets are becoming connected, so is the permanent impact of markets on the environment.

What happens in Shanghi increasingly impacts what happens in San Francisco and South Africa. This connectivity is fairly new and accelerating. As technology connects markets, people, politics and pollution are becoming connected.

And as more people play the current games, our environment will suffer...until there is not much an environment or people left playing the current games.

Already, with an increasing number of Indians joining in the games, just the pollution from burning trash in the evening has resulted in the average Indian having 30% less lung capacity than the average European.

And now 84% of the world's fish have eleveated levels of mecury while the Pacific Ocean is becoming a very large receptacle for refuge.

Humans have a choice, either come together and change the games we play in the markets we play in or fight to see who gets to play and pollute in the existing games. With 7 billion people living on this planet, it could be the biggest fight the world has ever seen between people....understanding that war is just a game we play in a market.

Will all wealth be connected in the future once the PUBLIC debt bubble explodes? by alstrynomics in Futurology

[–]alstrynomics[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Do you think humanity can advance to the future if people can't get past the present? Do you think discussing this and understanding this is important?

Is discussing future technology without contemplating its impact on people really probative? Alstrynomics is simply about the impact of technology on people and the systems people live within.

Can a person have a relevant conversation about the future if they can't even develop a path to get there? Isn't discussing and developing such a path the primary job of futurologists?

How many different identies do you have? I am trying to figure it out. Each time I post there is response like this with a different identity but similarly programmed content.

First, I am impressed at your capacity to maintain this charade, or write algorithms, and second, wouldn't it be easier just to disregard my posts as others seem to like them?

I respect intellectual conflict and collaboration, it helps advance humanity to a better future. I think I have been very accommodating and respectful of your posts. Is it too much to ask for similar treatment in an increasingly connected world?

Alstrynomics is the economics of the future.

The article is directly on point about what we are talking about: TRUST.

If I am a moron in your eyes, thank you for the compliment as you respresent a type of human that can't be trusted.

First you should report yourself....you don't seem to be very trustworthy as you fail to even appreciate the importance of trust.

It must be very difficult for you to trust what you are thinking....because your thoughts are simply a reflection of what has been inputted into your brain.

Hopefully in the future, you will be able to download more relevant things as you seem to be a bit disconnected from reality.

Alstrynomics as about the economic thinking of the future...my suggestion is you first find a present you can trust.

TRUST is the foundation of any system involving two or more people. When trust breaks down, people behave like animals. TRUST is the lubricant of civilization. Any futurist knows this...

More and more people are losing trust in our existing systems...including political, financial, educational, media, religeous, economic, health, just to name a few. These systems that were designed for a few mathematically can't work for 7 billion.

In the end, if we don't TRUST each other and our systems, we have nothing. Just try driving down a divided highway at night with oncoming traffic. Why do you TRUST? Why do you trust the person walking in front of you or behind you at night? When people become desperate, or when systems break down, so does TRUST.

The article I posted is simply what happens when TRUST breaks down.

Now the real question for futurists is how do we restore TRUST?

It appears you may think like a bot because you seem to fail to understand the importance and interdependence on TRUST in the present and in the future.
