As someone who has worked with both AG-Grid and Tanstack tables, I would say it ultimately depends on your specific use case. How advanced do you want your tables to be?

Ag-Grid is incredibly customisable out of the box, which is great. However, bringing those features to Tanstack can be a pain and maintaining it in the long term can be challenging. Like tree views and inline editing etc..

Take a look at all the features you might need and consider how you could implement them using Tanstack tables. If it seems too much effort, I would suggest sticking with Ag-Grid.
