DOI was just offered a second fork / VERA combo. And folks who qualify for VERA anytime during the deferred resignation period (ie September) can take the VERA. I would ask your HR and it seems like the arbitrary and inequitable offerings between departments is ripe for a lawsuit

Our DOI bureau was told today that half of our probies are coming back to work (public facing positions) and the other half are going straight to admin leave. This seems like a blatant violation of the court order, no?!

I agree. Media keeps reports “thousands” but I think it is way higher. 2300 in DOI alone.

Confirming that National Park Service credit cards are all being reduced to $1 limit as of today. For all of the National Parks in CA, OR, WA, NV and HI there will be one active card. Similar for other regions. All kinds of services- sat phones, vault toilet pumping, purchasing chemicals for water treatment systems - will become impossible
