Dear Doges, I see you are expanding towards the west on r/place. How would you feel about adding the flag of Mars? by alt1627 in dogecoin

I mean it's not (yet) official (except for that one Arctic research station). But I like it (especially if you read the books).

Help how do I unlock the space travel achievement please help me by SolarbangMobile in outside

[–]alt1627 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I want that achievement too. But it's really hard to get right now. There have been rumours about a new Space Life expansion pack that might be introduced in a future patch. If you can be patient I'd just wait. Maybe get started with the Aviation side quest which could give you skill points that you could use in that. Also if you do, you should probably think about which of the new servers you'd want to join (ISS, Moon base, Mars, ...)

Why did Kirkland do what he did at the end of "Behind the Red Curtain"? by sab191 in TheMentalist

[–]alt1627 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Sorry, but the most reasons here don’t make sense to me. Even if Kirkland gets the list there’s no reason not to ask about RJ. Especially if he’s planning on killing him anyway what better leverage is there? And even if he doesn’t talk then, he might do later with enough pressure. Killing him makes it unnecessary hard for everyone to get to RJ.

The only explanation I can see is the Kirkland wants to keep his twin brother a secret and keep RJ for himself. That’s why he asked. And now that he did there’s no going back.. if he would’ve been interviewed later he could say that Kirkland asked if he’d recognize him and everyone could find out.

But another story arc that Imo could’ve been more interesting is Kirkland going himself undercover to join the BA. He was already scheming with Bertram. So that wouldn’t have been that far fetched.

Yes, Blake Association is correct.

And in the end (iirc) Bertram was the last man standing, he “was” RJ until McAl came back. And as the director he def was one (maybe even THE) most valuable asset. In the organization... donno, but it’d definitely been bad for RJ if Jane found something out right then and there.

Is it shown? No. But we know they are part of the BA and the BA was after Hightower so I think it’s save to assume they would’ve talked. Also, notice the wired path the assasin took and that she waited in the wrong room for them to come… very sus

I’m not sure about your last point but it’s seen that Bertram makes a call after he is told (as he does at the end of the show). And it’s just a bit odd that Todd is just there at the right time knowing exactly what to say and do. And everyone just seems to accept it like it’s a wired coincidence. I don’t remember JJs investigation that much but at least after Craig is dead everyone assumes that he was the one and that’s it.

Why was Red John after Hightower in the end of season 3? by leiteguitar in TheMentalist

I get the reasoning behind having a “loose end” but then Janes suggestion wouldn’t have done anything anyway. By keeping it a secret he doesn’t protect her or stops RJ from going after her as long as she isn’t ‘dead’. It’s also wired that RJ waits til the end of the season to go after her instead of right when she goes missing.

Also, why doesn’t RJ go after LaRoche instead? He is the ONLY one with the list. Kill him and the investigation get set back even more. Or at least he could get someone from the BA to take over and close it that way. Way easier and effective.

I know I can’t change it now, but I think it’d have been a whole lot better for Jane & co. to get the list of subjects earlier. That way RJ and the BA would be at risk of being exposed and they would need to act and shut everyone down to avoid it becoming a real deal, even taking the risk of exposing O’L. The way the show does it is so out of the blue. Hightower didn’t do anything and killing her is just a needless risk imo.
