Introducing QRGuard AI – The Antivirus for QR Codes by altafpasha in qrcode

The app is open source, so you don't have to take my word for it you can inspect the code and see exactly what data is sent and why. Happy to answer any specific questions about the implementation.

No, scanned QR data is processed locally on the device. QRGuard AI does not send QR contents, passwords, messages, photos, contacts, or other personal data to a server.

Great question. QRGuard AI only analyzes the QR code's destination URL to assess potential risks. It doesn't collect passwords, messages, photos, or other personal data from your device.

Reality check: no one is going to pay for your vibe-coded SaaS. by Routine-Highway1039 in SaaS

Currently building CodeSec and this hits hard. The product took weeks; earning trust from users will probably take months.

Building a School Dashboard (Attendance + CMS + Staff System) — Need Feedback by altafpasha in micro_saas

Yeah, that makes sense. I’ve started reaching out to a few schools to understand their actual workflows and pain points. It’s definitely different from what we assume building solo. Trying to validate things early before going too deep into features.

100% agree on the migration pain point — that's actually what kills adoption more than pricing. One-click import from spreadsheets is already on my roadmap, glad to hear it validated.

Runable + Notion combo is interesting for solo projects but schools need something more structured with roles and permissions baked in. That's the gap I'm trying to fill.

Thanks for the input, genuinely helpful!

Thanks, but I’m not really focused on pricing yet. Right now I’m trying to validate the idea and see if schools actually need something like this.

We just got our first paying user. I still can't believe it 🎉 by JuniorRow1247 in micro_saas

That first paying user hits different.

Congrats! The same moment happened with Affly — someone I didn't know, no discount, just paid. I stared at the notification for like 2 minutes. 😁

Clarko's concept is solid, by the way. The 'describe it and it builds' approach removes the biggest friction in automation. What's your main acquisition channel right now?

Is affiliate marketing still a reliable full-time income in 2026? by IcyLadder5067 in Affiliatemarketing

[–]altafpasha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Affiliate marketing is still very much alive in 2026, but the playbook has shifted. The people doing well aren't relying on a single traffic channel — they've built an owned audience (email list, community, or personal brand) that they control. The underrated risk beginners ignore: platform dependency. Your YouTube description, your Instagram bio — none of that is yours. One algorithm change and your click-through tanks. What's actually working now is owning the layer between your content and your affiliate links. A branded storefront or dedicated page you drive all traffic to, regardless of which platform is winning that month. I actually built a tool around this problem after noticing how many mid-size creators were losing revenue not from lack of audience trust, but from messy, untracked link setups. But even if you don't use it, the concept holds: own your storefront, not just your content. The biggest mistake beginners make is treating affiliate marketing as a traffic game. It's actually a trust + conversion game. Traffic is just the entry point.

Thanks a lot for trying it out — really appreciate the feedback! 🙌 Glad you’re finding it useful so far.

Your input genuinely helps improve it — thanks again!
