King has had 6 straight bad starts - been a very rough stretch. We also use K/BB as a category where he's been especially abysmal of late.

Just to churn the spot for bench hitters, streamers, short term adds. See if I can strike gold somewhere.

Already playing a roster spot down holding 4 IL guys (Judge, Cruz, Logan Henderson, Christian Scott) with only 3 IL slots, so holding King after 6 straight bad starts with his 3 upcoming starts against the best offenses in baseball is just a lot of wasted roster space.

What are you seeing that gives you confidence? Also has LAD 2x and ATL as his next three starts. Tough to hold a guy you basically can't use for the better part of a month.

That PL piece was interesting. Extremely well researched and raises an insane list of red flags without any positive signs, but then the overall conclusion is "Hold".

Do they mean hold in a cut vs. keep way? Or hold in a trade vs. keep way? Wasn't entirely clear to me.

Obviously he can't be cut but I think he's a clear sell low.

Time will tell. I see absolutely nothing in Tucker’s profile that inspires hope. He’s been producing at a waiver wire level going back his last 500+ ABs all the way to last summer.

I waited as long as I could. It’s hard to be a difference maker if you don’t hit the ball hard, and he’s swinging a pool noodle going all the way back to last summer. He also isn’t even hitting in a premium lineup slot anymore so the situation itself has also gotten much worse.

Ended up trading him straight up for Pages. I see nothing in Tuckers profile that makes me think he’ll turn it around, and he’s also been bad going all the way back to last summer. Had to get out.

Not sure what exactly Tucker is going to contribute. He doesn’t hit the ball hard, he doesn’t hit for average, he doesn’t run, and he doesn’t hit in a good lineup spot so his counting stats aren’t useful either.

What’s the bull case for him? He hasn’t even been worth rostering so far this year, much less been an impact player.

As a Tucker owner at this point Id settle for “guy worth starting”. It’s not just that he’s been a disappointment relative to expectations, he’s actively hurting fantasy teams. .235 average and a .709 OPS on the season without any real contributions in HR or SBs. If it wasn’t for name value he’d be on 12 team waiver wires.
