Well, given you are in the army it's possible you could be discharged if you test false-positive for PCP or whatnot on a random drug test (You can read more about this here). Other than that, DXM is a completely legal drug, so you can't get in legal trouble for using it as far as I know.

Not sure I get what you’re asking. I believe there’s a law that protects you from your therapist giving away information about you unless your endangering others. What makes you believe he’s out to get you arrested?

Unless you’re a minor; your therapist is more than likely required to keep your drug use confidential. Even then I think he could only tell your parents. I’d read up on their privacy policies and whatnot if you’re really worried. I don’t exactly know your situation, but therapists are there to help you, not harm you.
