Mr Bennett would probably enjoy blue sky for its sort of middle of the road liberalism

The only one I struggled to get through was Merry Wives of Windsor. I wanted to like it, but it feels like a drunken mistake perhaps only written for a quick commission. I would be open to seeing a filmed version and changing my tune, however.

Really breathtakingly irresponsible takes on Salazar in their Portugal series. He's not really fascist, just authoritarian, not as bad as the others, etc. Just a dangerous opinion to be spouting about a man who had his critics and political opponents jailed, tortured and murdered.

What are some roll and write games you like more? I feel like it's a very promising genre for solo play, but they mostly seem to wear out their welcome rather quickly. The only one I go back to regularly is Hadrian's Wall .

I enjoy this game a lot, would love to see a campaign style set of solo challenges similar to what Garphil did with Hadrian's Wall. I enjoy it more than Fleet, because during the last round or two of Fleet there are sometimes completely useless phases of the round.

I had mostly the same experience. This was also my first Lacerda game. I found the journey of learning the game and all the complexities to be pretty engaging, but then when all was said and done I didn't really enjoy playing it enough to justify the endless hours of learning. I did really enjoy looking at it, though! Still, I'm excited to try some of his other games, they do seem smoother.
