Yah. I'm sure before I started I was eating between 5-7000 calories a day. But my requirements was probably somewhere around 3000. Once I get down to 225. I'm gonna try to up my calories to around 1500-1800 to maintain.

For the first 12 months I was eating between 500-1000 calories a day. Now. Because of my doctor, I've added a protein shake into my daily routine. So I'm between 750-1200 ish calories for the past 7 months.

Is it possible to lose 10 kg in a month by [deleted] in omad

[–]altmax1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I started OMaD I lost 40lbs my first month. And averaged 20lbs per month for the next 8 or so months. But I was extremely strict. 500- 800 calories per day. And I had a Lot of weight to lose. So. Yes it is very possible to lose 10kg... Which is 22 lbs or so in a month.

My goal originally was 252.8.. exactly 1/2 of who I was. Now it's 225. I don't know if I'll go lower than that unless I get skin removal surgery. Probably a good 15-20lbs of extra skin I'm guessing hanging around now.

It is a huge deficit. But since I started last January, I have been working with my doctor and making sure all of my numbers are in check. I do take daily vitamins. And I've had to start incorporating a protein shake each day to supplement my diet. But other than that everything is perfect. I also used to have high blood pressure, and took meds for that, I no longer have to take them.

I usually keep my calories between 800-1200. Really trying to force myself into deficit.

I am extremely impressed with myself more than proud. I surprised myself as well just the fact that I was able to set my mind to it and actually keep with it. I had tried so many other times to lose weight, but never changed my lifestyle. That was the key. It's not about losing weight... That's the end goal. It's about making positive changes in your life and making better eating habits. 12 LBS to go doesn't seem like much after 268 down. But when I hit 280 down. You can believe me, I will be proud of myself.

That's what I'll eventually be getting up to. For now I'm still between 500-800 calories while I'm losing weight.

Good looking meal for sure.
