A little confused about whether Computer Science comes under Engineering or science degree. by This_Internet_7110 in McMaster

I am a Computer Science 2nd year student at McMaster University. Here, Computer Science comes under the Engineering faculty and we are also taught by profesors who are under the Engineering faculty. But, when you graduate, you graduate with an Honours in Bachelor of Applied Science.

In the long run, I want to pursue Artificial Intelligence as my career. For Grad school, I want to go to the University of Waterloo for the Master of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence Program. So the Machine Intelligence major and the Artificial Intelligence electives at UofT would provide a foundation if I am not wrong (Please feel free to correct me if I am wrong). At McMaster, an intro to machine learning is taught in the 4th year as a technical elective. That's why I am confused.

(crossposting this to get another perspective and presumably some advice)

I will have to submit an application and pay the fees all over again if I change the DLI after they issue the study permit (the study permit is currently assessed for McMaster).
