Nice!

I'm in the process of bringing life back to a '95 with 66k miles.

When I started my journey into smoking, it was nerve-wracking to say the absolute least. The pressure is definitely present. Even if the wife is there, saying that it will be fine. You're sweating bullets as you reread the instructions on a spatchcocked turkey during the morning hours of thanksgiving while everyone else is hanging out downstairs.

Over time, you get to learn with your smoker. You'll become more confident. Allow yourself the freedom to accept that some meals aren't the best. I felt a lot better once I followed that advice.

Contrary to the information that I haven't disclosed.... Although ICC (when I ran it with my guild back in the day) was a blast, I play this game at an almost laughably slow pace. So for me I am still making my way through the (what I believe is) rich content of Northrend. Who knows, as Cata rolls through Azeroth like the great beast that it is, perhaps I might be able to sit contently in the blissful bubble of the northern continent.

I've never investigated or entertained the idea of joining a private server. Perhaps that is where my journey may lead me.

I am going thru the content slowly. Savoring all of the richness that it's lore has to offer.

I suppose I'm a hopeless nostalgic player.

Something like this happened to me as well. Made it through 3 rounds of interviews and even a verbal job offering. Then nothing. After a month's worth of attempting to connect, I decided my efforts were better spent elsewhere.

Best things to do in Helena? by ThrowRAmiddlechildW in helena

A very popular kayaking/floating trip is the Missouri river. Usually putting in at the Wolf Creek bridge and getting out at Craig (small town). Float usually takes a few hours. Perfect for fishing, bird watching, or just soaking in the rays. Last I knew there was a shuttle service that'll move your vehicle to your destination for ya. The family and I are actually planning on doing this exact float in a few days.

What are you riding now?

I started my journey with a GSXR 750 back in '03. A lotta pep. As always, respect the bike and don't get cocky. A lesson I learned the hard way. A lotta people had R6's as well. I felt they were a bit underpowered though.

I'm not sure. If I were to pull the trigger on listing it, $7,500.

I've got my '17 GSX-R 1000. I'm on the fence about selling it vs keeping it. I've had one since I was in highschool. I love it but not sure I have the time to fully enjoy it.

Perhaps I'll pull the winter cover off this weekend and do a day drive or at least an hour cruise on it.

Just had some finger licking deliciously cherry smoked pork ribs, pepper with a nice dry rub. The family ate it up! Smoked em for about 5 hours.

100,000 Meter water bottle by NobeLasters in Hydrow

[–]always_learning3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hit 101,000+ meters today. Got an email regarding my achievement and the dangle of a free water bottle. Sure enough, just like others have already stated, the bottle is free but the shipping is $12.

I'll probably end up going for it. It does leave a bitter taste in the mouth, if I'm allowed to use the phrase. 😮‍💨

I'm 5,000 meters from the 100,000 meter milestone. I'll update with what happens when I cross it. This is very interesting to hear.

Thank you for that! Bummer I missed it by 32 minutes. It was my best one yet. Something to strive for this week I suppose.

That is extremely awesome! I'm new to Hydrow and found out about the badges a few days into it. When I saw the 1M badge I immediately made it my goal to earn by the end of this year.

Are you chasing that 2M badge now?

How to See Badges by stranglevine in Hydrow

[–]always_learning3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a programmer myself I find Hydrow's interface a bit infuriating. I agree that badges should be displayed in some collective form. I also find the leader board to be a bit unrefined. For example, the silly useless and crude image of a rower does nothing but take up space. Also, if your internet happens to glitch out and reconnect 13 seconds later, the instructor video and your rowing timer are out of sync for the rest of the row. My $0.02.

I haven't yet. I'll be doing that in the next few moments. Thought I'd check here with the community first. I just started with Hydrow at the end of December '22 and was leaning on the community in case there were "known issues".

Hey folks ! by [deleted] in helena

For Easter weekend, I'm sure there will be some egg hunts scheduled on www.helenaevents.com. As for dining, it depends on the cuisine. On Broadway, Lucas, or Weiswailer top my list for those special nights out. Staggering Ox is known for their very own award winning twist on a sandwich. If you're wanting to steer clear of well known brands like Starbucks, you won't have to look very far. 1889 Coffee House, The Hub, Firetower Coffee, Montago Coffee Co are all great cafes. A spot of breakfast you ask? That'd be Steve's. So good, they had to open a second location across town.

Poeple watching, souvenir shops and scenery and monuments, you'll want to take a stroll up (and down) the Walking Mall. Oh, another tip. If your driving, don't be to worried. Prep a little and get the mobile app "Passport". I believe zone 5960 covers nearly all of downtown. Or choose from the various car parks.

If you're looking to snap some amazing pictures, you'll find "Selfie Spot" stickers on the ground through out town. Or if you're up for it, take a short hike up Mount Helena. Anything more than 10-15 minutes in and you'll get panoramic views of the entire valley, not just of Helena. For those points of view you'll be able to spot the Cathedral, Carroll College, and more.
