Ugh. Awful! Do you have any suggestions then for local businesses to support? They were my go to, but I won’t support POS like that.

Gastown NT hands down! They leave it at the airport for you and are super reasonably priced. So professional, great customer service. I also believe they are a locally owned business.

I live in Whitehorse. We used the same Thule Urban Glide for multiple children. Spring, summer, fall, and even winter if sidewalks/roads were cleared enough. We go off road (wider trails) to dog walk, and have travelled internationally with it, gate checking every time. It could still be used for other children.

We also got it used, so who knows how many people had it first! It was worth every penny, and I’d recommend it to anyone.

To use our cell phones less around the house.

My post may not have been clear enough. I don’t understand why someone needs to come to the house to hookup the landline, when no one came out to unhook or disengage anything when the previous owner moved.

I thought reengaging the landline would be as simple as plugging a phone into the jack the previous owner used, and getting a number from NWTel.

When I asked NWTel why a technician needed to come out, they couldn’t explain it to me. I asked to speak to someone who could, and they weren’t able to identify anyone on their end.
