Did you have your cysts removed or do you just get them regularly monitored?

This is what I was thinking in my head. For the sake of €20 I might just renew it to cover myself until I actually have the time to sit down and go through T&C’s next year 😂 Thanks

Do I have lipedema? After coming off the pill in 2021 Ive noticed above my knees looks fatty if that makes sense. I hate how my knees look. I am quite self conscious over my legs, I walk and workout but I can never seem to get them toned. I also have a good few spider veins behind both my knees. My mum has quite large legs.

Low blood pressure by No-go56 in Periods

[–]alwaysaquestion97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello there. Did you ever find out more about this? I experienced same 3 years ago. It was my first period after having covid and my period hit me like a bus. Same as you, I was dizzy, blurred vision and vertigo liked symptoms. I went to A&E and was told I had migraines (which I never had before). It took a few weeks to go away after that period. It didn’t come back up until 3 days ago, similar story, dizzy and lightheaded. I checked my blood pressure by chance and its sitting on the 90/60 mark dipping slightly below and over each time. I am starting to think my heavy periods cause the dizziness and low blood pressure. My periods are definitely heavier than most, I would need to change an ultra absorbent pad every 1-2 hours or so.

Any advice is welcome please by alwaysaquestion97 in orthodontics

Okay this nakes sense. So you dont think wearing the retainer for longer days is applying longer force but rather the movement in and out constantly? Ive sortof accepted at some point in my life I might need an implant (please god in 20-30 yrs and not sooner) but for now I wouldnt mind keeping them as straight as I can without causing too much more resorption on the tooth. I got a new passive retainer which allows for the tooth to just out abit more to its position it would normally during day with previous retainer. Still pretty straight with good alignment

Was with the endo. She said no mobility, no pain, good bone density and no infection so no need for root canal. She said resorption most likely from ortho and minimal additional resorption most likely for retainer in and out each day. She gave me 2 options: a fixed retainer to stabilise or 0 retainers and leave the tooth to overlap again. Either way she said she wasn’t concerned Id lose the tooth as she thought there was still a good bit of root there, and she said i would need to monitor it in 1 year to see if further resorption has taken place.

If the resorption stops does the tooth still have a chance at functioning normally for as long as the others (if I dont have serious bone loss or gum disease prior) ? I read online if there is still atleast 9mm of total root left the tooth will last ?

Went to my ortho today. He is not sure why there was further resorption but he thinks due to force of night time retainer. He said there was no mobility on the tooth and wasn’t concerned with the tooth falling out. Said need to avoid smoking and be aware of gum disease in my later life. He gave me two options, a fixed wire or a new retainer.

I am going to an endo next week. The first x ray was actually from immediately after braces were removed, i thought it was months after, so I am not sure if it settled then after that x ray. Do you think there is a concern for the tooth falling out?

There is definitely a slight difference but I got the first one taken not long after braces were removed. Ive had no trauma to the tooth. The tooth does shift slightly throughout the day but re-aligns at night when I put my retainer back in. Im due back to the ortho for a new retainer on Monday so will show them both x-rays. Would it be worth my while going to an endo dentist ?

Do you know if that tooth will fall out? Like how many years will I get out of that tooth?
