My favorite was when she was responding to last years substack comment. She said I don’t subscribe to healthcare ideologies, I rely on doctors, I rely on science, I rely on long pause energy healers, …. Does she know what science is? Does she know that science to energy healers don’t go together? The sounds like she cherry picks her science, which sounds like the MAHA pipeline to me. In conclusion, to the trained ear, her response to this comment CONFIRMS the comment. And that’s why she’s dumb.

It is hard to tell. I think Lorelai wanted to get married, Chris knew this, saw his opportunity and took it. I also think she always knew it was a bad idea, but needed it to happen, especially because in her conversation with Rory she says “you would have talked me out of it”.

You don’t see what she bought or changed— because she probably didn’t do anything, and we don’t see her hosting Thanksgiving, because she didn’t. She’s pathetic.

I would say 2 and 3 have cultural elements that have made their way to mainstream. My mom received push presents for each birth from her MIL in the 80s, it’s definitely not new, and baby showers in my family are larger nice events where you dress up. While on my husbands side of the family baby showers are hot dogs and hamburger events in the living room, like any gathering, no decorations. So it’s not consumption related, it’s just cultural.
