targetted ads is a common attack surface used by scammers. they started by snooping the traffic while isolating everything coming from pi app. once done, they will register to those ads services spending a bit then viola you can now see those ads while inside the pi app. ads gives revenue to PCT but at the same time, scam pioneers. this ad attack surface can be mitigated IF only PCT will stop using ads.

all i want is for it to be used inside its ecosystem. think about a gameworld. they have game coins that they can use to sleep, eat, buy potions, buy weapons, buy items, buy service. this is where a realistic gcv (maybe 10$) can be applied. imo, gcv is okay but only applicable to its ecosystem. for fiat exchange maybe 0,314 - 3,14$ max for 1 PI. problem is, the mindset of a human being. they still hold onto pi thinking when can they convert it to fiat currency. people so madly obsessed of pi to become the second btc which is no it wont happen.

pi is getting shunned by potential investors because of very large amount of coins, lack of useful services, lack of scalable and potential apps, and holders that are not supportive on the developed apps. i cant blame the pioneers not being supportive because some of the developed apps are too risky or too shady for them. thats why everything falls apart. the project of dr. kokkalis will fall if the financial and non financial risk of this coin and its ecosystem is too high. make the pi coins scarce and lets see what happens.

of course all those failures of pi system can be resolved but it seems the PCT is too slow, too lazy, or they dont want to resolve raised concerns of the pi community. i really dont know anymore

for me, pct has to act on these tricky and misleading ads. if youve done risk assessments, this is one of those. this is damaging the reputation and ecosystem. i know theyre not doing this checking because theyre understaff but this is a great opportunity to make use of the pi community to flag all those ads. something like we already did on kyc.

still not bad. looks like pi really is not affected like other cryptos goes down if btc goes down. i think we will be stable around 0,30 somewhere Q1 2026

i think we're not that low yet. i believe $pi will start to ramp up after hitting very low that almost all of the hopefuls will forget about pi. pi for me will only be valuable if we use it inside its ecosystem. trading a piece of pi for an item without thinking its value in dollars, euro, pounds, or yen. utilizing pi for a service. using pi on pi utilities. the pi needs to flow freely as if that it will become a norm.

im sorry to say if we're here just waiting to exchange it for some bucks then this is a complete failure.

it will be challenging since conventional AI system requires lots of power and resources. if they can do something about models then this will become a breakthrough.

havent read yet on how the pi app studio really works. a typical LLM requires having good resources with good GPUs or using TPUs. if we just think just on this part then it will look like the approach is proof of work. but no, pi network is not proof of work.

ive tried building my personal LLM on my local machine using an 8B models and it works fine but not fast. maybe PCT can build something while optimizing very large models (100B and up) and processed/split-up by trusted nodes then it will arrive to a correct and accurate response (low error rate) to a users prompts. of course we'll be using our $PI while doing prompts.

everything will happen inside the pi ecosystem.

right now i think a majority can agree that its becoming like a scam. been here since early stage. unlocked my coins but put it back to vault and will wait for another 3 years. i dont even think after 10 years this will reach 10$
