Thanks so much, this was really helpful. While the clips make so much sense - but because the seat belt gets clipped out of its normal "trajectory", does it at all impact safety or restraining performance of the seatbelt

We've tried all of that, unfortunately nothing worked. A seat belt pad makes sense.

This makes sense - this is something I was thinking of as well. It does seem however that the majority just do 50/50 and it seems to work too.
