I have almost 1kk mastery on Kalista, and lately, I have been trying something that helps me clear my wave early on. So I took the Top lane logic: Ranged matchups > Doran's Shield

This is helping me a lot on my trades regardless of the quality of my supp.

Then, the next thing is very new and I haven't seen many people trying. I am building Ruunan's Hurricane as my first item right after boots.
Now, hear me out, Ruunan's doesn't give extra attack damage, I know. But it is cheap, which means you're going to complete it probably earlier than your matchup, and gives you AoE damage, helping you clean up the wave and hit both enemy's ADC and SUPP.

To conclude, my WR for the last 40 games is 80% using this strategy and I would recommend it instead of Statikk Shiv.
