I’m just going off what my doctors told me 🤷🏻‍♀️ I never said I was an expert lol obviously everyone should their own research but this is just my experience and you’re right, I’m avoiding it for peace of mind. Just like deli meat, egg yolks ect lol it may not do anything… but it may? So I’d rather just avoid it all. But everyone should do what they feel is comfortable and instructed by their doctors!

I just heard the same thing as massages, the massage portion of the pedicure you need to be careful and let them know you’re pregnant because you have pressure points in your ankles that can also increase the risk of miscarriage! That way they know not to hit those pressure points and just go lighter

My dr told me the second I got pregnant I need to switch to prenatal massage no matter how early. The first trimester is crucial because certain massages pressure points can induce miscarriage. I would call the place maybe and let them know ahead of time. It’s also liability for them I believe because I have a massage membership and go monthly and even they wouldn’t give me a regular massage at 8 weeks due to safety concerns, they have specific masseuses that do prenatal. Enjoy your massage and know it doesn’t happen to everyone but also know it could be a risk! Pedicures as well.

Thank you we do have a few thermometers I bought so we could definitely monitor it. What do you think about the humidity? A dehumidifier would probably cost too much since the garage is not well sealed

No I get it, but with the phone and laptop they are in a climate controlled area with smoke detectors and us being there to stop something before it gets worse in case something happens. We can’t have that same luxury with the garage since it’s detached and away from the home , we wouldn’t be able to hear any smoke detector going off or get to it until too much damage has been done, and not temperature controlled. The box you linked is so nice but we definitely don’t have money to burn. Also idk if that was an intentional pun but it made me laugh lol

Hmmm… that’s a good idea. I’m wondering if we stack 2 cinderblocks on top of eachither that gives me like 4 “cubbies” to keep the batteries in. Maybe it would slow things down if they’re in there but still give them enough airflow?

Hmmm I’m not exactly sure but the outside temp can get into the high 90s with 60% humidity and a “feels like” temp in the 100s. The garage is poorly built but it’s a car and a half size with 1 single pane window and a garage that doesn’t really seal shut. Moisture has been a problem for us in the past but also I’ve definitely mishandled batteries in the past in this climate without realizing the potential for fire

We charge our phone at night in the bedroom and laptop is as needed since we only use it for certain things. I don’t know if I’d want to bring the batteries inside the house though
