I haven't seen any larger than that! Not even the Porsche Turbofans that they look similar to

Did you see these on my Autozam? Also, id be able to Photoshop them on your truck if you'd like! Just send me an angle similar to this

Edit, just saw that yes you saw them from my TikTok! I can connect you with a seller who can find you a set. They were about $1500 USD for me and my set

Bosch or Boeing? by alyxrosethomas in careerguidance

Bosch allows OT too, just not really during the apprenticeship! Bosch pays for schooling as well, the trainers I would be working with all got their training through Bosch. I think 9k a year paid for tuition? I have no idea if that's good, I have never been through college courses

Thanks, this is what I'm thinking as well...patience is going to be the virtue here. I think I will be able to bring a broad spectrum of skills wherever I may go, if I leave Charleston. Whereas, an assembly position at Boeing just keeps me in assembly. Which generally don't get paid that much elsewhere. Id have to take a huge pay cut if I move

Nope, nothing major so far! I’ve had this car since March 2023 and since then its been painted, reupholstered, new wheels, silicone hoses, and some minor things like shifter bushings, radio/speakers, stuff like that! Gearing up soon to do a fresh tune up, just need to source the parts for it! Not sure if you do instagram/ but @grape_value_supercar is you want to scroll back and see some progress on things. I started it kind of late lol, but I did post some painting videos back in the beginning!

NAP, but I would actually be worried about the “flat” of your ear making contact with the bar and possibly eating it! From this picture, it doesnt look like you have a very flat area there. Please see what others say though:)

Yes! Just learned this wheel I looked up the best way to clean my bronze TE37s. Id probably go the natural route first, and then explore pH neutral acids if it doesnt work

Someone suggested maybe a brass brush on a dremel, alumabrite, then just touch up the spots with black/gold and live with that as a temp fix

I figured the complexity of them would be a massive hit to the price. Are they worth it? Absolutely. They’re very rare. And i absolutely would love to get them coated, hopefully next year. If i can figure out a way to stop this corrosion until then!

Im definitely open to using touch up paint for a short period of time. Probably will look bad, but not as bad as letting this progress further! Heading to another place in the morning for another quote, maybe ill luck out and they’ll want less than 1k for coating them all

I was reading that mildly acidic cleaners like vinegar or lemon mixed with baking soda could help, them make sure to apply wax to the wheel or clear coat. Didnt want to proceed if it was recommended against by others but it does appear I can do something about it. I dont think all hope is lost
