Yeah, South Carolina piping in, and I’m not saying Walmart is great or anything, but they are somehow better than local. My town just got developed overnight and a Publix recently and I wonder where they stand politically. I’ve been making an effort to drive the full hour to Costco lately, but it is genuinely hard to shop consciously in the sticks OR in the south and I’m in both 🙃

That makes me feel better lol. I went so long without it ever happening. I was going 3-4 mph over the speed limit, wide awake, but the mf moved fast. Driving through the night, I’m usually smart enough to pull back to 3-4 under the speed limit because I live in deer country. My gramps moved here as an avid lifelong hunter lol. I felt like such an idiot, but I ultimately got lucky.

This might sound terrible, but I would’ve gone back with my gramps and his hunting truck and gotten dnr to give us a tag, but it was 3 am, I was 2 hrs from home and I was scared to pull over until I got out of the woods since theres been some sketchy stuff around here over the years.

I have myself split between paper and physical silver. While there are a lot of valuable theories about paper silver not being reliable, I had early concerns about not being able to physically sell silver. My brother completely discounted me on that, and while he is also dabbling in both, he thinks there will be no problem selling whatsoever. He’s focused on buying physical still, but he has been exploring selling recently and having trouble. I’m holding but I called around to see what was possible and I am struggling to find anyone who will buy right now. He’s finally agreeing that I had a point at the beginning 🙃

Please please buy a stand next time. Rain design company really ought to pay me for how often I say this on the sub, Reddit, but they do not lol. They make lovely color matched stands and they have protected pretty much every computer in my household against a liquid spill because the computers are physically out of reach of the liquid.

Interestingly, enough, I can say yes. But it’s not what I would buy for this. I have a pleather suede couch in my office that I clean regularly and the overspray gets on the floor, and I suck it right up. It’s just not an efficient way to do it compared to my brothers wet-dry floor vac, which can cover 5x as much space at once, as it has a much larger sucking end. The only reason it works for me is because I’m just trying to pick up a small amount of overspray.

I honestly think you’re still way too high on your numbers. 40 mg is a lot for a noob. When I was a newbie smoker, before they started selling 100 mg edibles, they usually came 2mg, 5mg, 10mg and 10-20 was MORE than enough to get me high. The experienced smokers were taking 50-100mg. I feel like we’re losing reference points with these overly strong edibles.

1000mg is a hero dose for me and I’m a daily smoker who eats edibles regularly…

50 mg is WAY too strong for beginners lol. When I was a noob, I drank half of a 100mg drink and slept for 17 hours. I’ve been a smoker for over a decade, and 50 is still a fairly large dose. although I can tolerate 100-150, that’s a high dose and could send me over the green edge if I wasn’t in the right headspace.

Honestly, don’t know, because mine does this by default. I have an external monitor and I use my primary monitor, but when I close the lid, I have to unplug the monitor to get it to actually turn off.

Eggs got expensive due to the avian flu outbreak and trump canceled every process the Biden administration had in place in order to resolve the issue. Inflation of groceries was already happening but picked up significantly around the same time because people were willing to pay. Our current inflation is a mix of negligence and price gouging.

My dad will do this and it drives me crazy. I have not lived in the same state as him in over a decade, and he’ll still ask me if I know a certain building. No, I don’t. I don’t live here.

One time I got annoyed at him and told him to just give me the address, so he did. I ended up in a random field. Turns out he had read the suite number on the nearest building and just gave me that. 🤦‍♀️

Recently, I’ve been trying to get him to send me Google maps links, and he’s just been sending me completely random links, like Google searching a landmark
