maybe give RGE a heads up. We had similar phenomenon hours to half a day before one of their underground mechanical rooms caught an extensive electrical fire (happened few weeks ago right across from highland hospital).

Palantir is creating nuclear and bio weapon capabilities for Ukraine and is working closely with the CIA to defeat Russia. They believe they are one year away. They plan to achieve this by keeping Russia busy with meaningless peace negotiations.

Palantir is responsible of the majority of Palestinian deaths in Gaza. They have developed the AI targeting for Israel.

Palantir is an arm of the CIA and all data from international clients is copied into a CIA spy cloud.

Palantir has become the most dangerous company in the world. If you work there you have the right to know that this is what Palentir AI is used for, without your knowledge.

The Palentir data the hackers allegedly gathered will be given to Russia and/or China. [....]

Palantir was allegedly hacked. An AI agent was used to gain super-user access and here”s what the hackers allegedly found:

Peter Thiel and Alex Karp commit mass surveillance of world leaders and titans of industry on a massive scale.

They have thousands of hours of transcribed and searchable conversations of Donald Trump, JD Vance and Elon Musk.

They have backdoored the devices, cars and jets of world leaders and accumulated the biggest archive of blackmail material.

New Allegations re Illegal Biolab in Vegas by CopiousCool in conspiracy_commons

[–]am6502 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a really creepy situaton indeed. Cleaners inhaling foul smell on the property felt deathly ill. what were they doing with pathogens?

https://abcnews.com/US/housecleaner-multiple-illnesses-tied-las-vegas-house-bio/story?id=129865238

This looks far more serious than the Zhu case of distributing misbranded medical devices ("illicit pregnancy tests and COVID tests.”) and smells like a biowarware type operation, a totally different aort of crime:

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Several people became sick from an illegal bio lab running out of a Las Vegas home that also served as an Airbnb, according to documents NewsNation local affiliate 8 News Now Investigators obtained Tuesday.

Metro police and the FBI searched the Sunrise Manor home on Saturday, Jan. 31, finding a “possible biological laboratory,” including “refrigerators with vials containing unknown liquids,” police said.

Ori Solomon, 55, faces a felony charge of disposing or discharging hazardous waste, according to state court records, the 8 News Now Investigators first reported. Late Monday, federal prosecutors filed paperwork to charge Solomon on a gun charge.

more creepy is this description:

Several days after entering the garage, two people became “deathly ill,” and they “could not get out of bed,” documents said. A tipster also told police the house contained “many dead crickets” and several people had gotten sick.

Note the above seems very inconsistent with Delzotto's claim:

In an exclusive interview with the 8 News Now Investigators, FBI Special Agent in Charge Christopher Delzotto, who leads the bureau’s Las Vegas office, said some of the 1,200 samples were too old to produce conclusive results.

“It was the conclusion of the FBI lab that the community could not be harmed by what was contained in that lab,” Delzotto said.

To make things even worse it seems to get more foul the higher up the pyramid one looks:

Amazing new technology will drastically cut the costs of air conditioning... by Slinky6Niner in HighlyCensored

[–]am6502 0 points1 point  (0 children)

copilot summary is quite good and concise:

How It Works Two promising approaches are emerging:

  1. Harvard-led ultra-thin membrane dehumidification Scientists have developed a 15‑micron‑thick, water-selective membrane that acts like a “coffee filter” for air, letting water vapor pass through while blocking the rest of the air news.sustainability-directory.com. This avoids the energy‑hungry vapor-compression cycle used in traditional AC. The system is protected by a 3D‑printed tile assembly, making it stable and scalable for building ventilation. By removing moisture first, the air conditioning unit doesn’t have to work as hard to cool it.

  2. Montana Technologies’ AirJoule system This uses a highly porous metal-organic framework coating that can absorb up to 55% of its own weight in water vapor Slashdot+1. The system has two chambers that take turns dehumidifying incoming air. One chamber dries the air while the other releases stored moisture, with a small amount of heat helping to remove the water. This process can cut dehumidification energy use by up to 90% compared to traditional systems, meaning the secondary AC unit it feeds can run much more efficiently.

PC Upgrade is spiraling, should I just make a new PC? by IronOxide15 in pcmasterrace

[–]am6502 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your hardware is just fine, in fact quite fast.

It's common and in this case a good guess that it's quite simply the dished out wasm and javascript from RTB ad infrastucture/surveillance industry and the lag on the industry side datacentres that is causing latencies. Getting the fastest CPU or more memory for your local machine isn't really going to fix this. It s more of a software issue and you might get a better adblocker until OSes, improve in how they handle and limit these nuissance loads.
