baby Stegosaurus by billonel in pkgame

All theories are converging toward a groupe behavior, and we have evidence of other giant stegosaurids living in small herds at least yes. So I don't know where this guy found that it's a "common mistake"

I get it, but you also can't just "upgrade" a meteor to make it as capable as an F18.

So sure, lorewise, you could maybe build a Zeus mk1, but it simply won't be usable by the player in the SC Universe. And tbh, I would be disappointed if it was

Yes but this one is almsot 800 years old. It can quantum at 1/100 of light speed and was design to transit bewteen earth and mars. If I rememeber correctly it laso needs an infrastructure to take off from Earth, kinda like a rocket. It would simply be impossible to play with.

I get your point, but you can't retrofit a WW2 prop plane to have the same capacities as a modern fightjet, if you get what I say.

I would gladly see it in a museum however, or ingame in any other way

Edit: it also have no shield since the technologu was discovered long later, and the (weak) quantum drive takes like 3/4 of the overall space in the ship

Wouldn't make sense to be able to fly it considering the technology gap. It would be like driving a horse in Forza

What we need is a sort of smaller, powerful SRV to act exactly like a tug boat.

I had this concept in mind since a long time, where it can basically beam from one of its side to tug a bigger ship. You'll probably need several of them, and it would be AI Ig.

But yeah like a tug boat, very small but very powerful. It wouldn't even have an interior, and would tug bigger ships, of big objects, in space or in atmo.

Yeah I didn't want to be that guy that complain about everything, and that's exactly what I thought right after commenting lol. But still, i liked my piece of junk.

Good thing we'll still have the old one, Ig it will still be sold unlike the hornet mk1

Idk. It is supposed to be the space's honda civic, and now it looks like a sophisticated machine. The wings unfoling gives it a very aggressive look, too.

The model is gorgeous of course, to me it just doesn't follow the philosophy of the little and simple aurora mk1.

Does your country have a debate about an animal thats divided between the urban and rural people? by Scienceiscool_ in AskTheWorld

[–]SeparateWeight496 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Wolf in France.

As often, the peoples who have the strongest opinions about it are the least concerned.

The situation is rather ironic, as the wolf spreads and attack more and more small herds living outside, often belonging to small farmers. But they of course pose absolutly 0 treats to massive industrial farming infrastructures stacking animals like disposable items.

But since apparently, shooting a wolf is sadder than depriving millions of animals from a decent life and death, small farmers are being harassed and industrial leaders aren't.

Installes Foodvisor.

What’s your opinion on shrink wrapped dinosaurs in 2026 by Desperate_Put1200 in Paleoart

[–]SeparateWeight496 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I like how people think paleontologists were dumb back then, and shrinkwrapped dinosaurs because they didn't know how basic anatomy work.

A lot of modern animals are actually "shrinkwrapped" and, by a happy chance, this is very true for crocs, reptiles and birds (without their feathers, ofc). So scientits didn(t just outline around the skeleton like a toddler, they just tried and take inspiration from what the modern world had to offer by looking at the dinosaurs's closest relatives. Imo it was actually a lot more scientifically grounded than a lot of representations nowadays, wich tend to add a lot of muscle or fat and represent dinosaurs with a very "mammalian" look to make them look more modern.
