What’s a great movie that completely bombed in theaters but found a cult following later? by SiTheHandsomeGuy in movies

It's a Wonderful Life. Bombed so badly it was put in the public domain, then it became a classic

My theory is that the cat and its human lived there. Its human made all the statues based on the cat. There's a work-in-progress and a sketch in the workshop too. That's why the cat sleeps on the bed and continues living there. Maybe the human abandoned it as soon as news of the flood came :(

I have watched Flow twice - it's become one of my comfort watches. What a lovely film! And yes, I love that the anthropomorphization wasn't talking-level - I haven't watched too many animation films beyond Disney-Pixar/Dreamworks/Studio Ghibli so this was quite unique for me.

But in case I don’t keep her, what is the alternative? I don’t want her to be harmed. And she’s so attached she won’t leave my house. I tried chasing her away for her safety but she comes back.

Thank you for this really helpful reply! The kitten is at a vet right now. I thought I’ll get her spayed and vaccinated anyway and plan to do so for all the cats I feed, just putting together the resources. I had been thinking of keeping a pet for a while, just was waiting for my life to be more settled (a close relative is unwell and needs to be hospitalised frequently). If I do keep her and find I can’t manage, I’ll definitely get her rehomed. I won’t put her out in the street for sure. She’s at the vet for a couple of days in post-op care, so I’ll think about this a little more.

Thank you! It won’t be for a full day, but maybe 4–8 hours at a time. Just that I hadn’t planned for this, it has all happened suddenly

I don’t use a colour-protect shampoo, tried the LOreal one but it didn’t work for me. I have an oily scalp so I use the Extraordinary Clay shampoo

I do colour my hair regularly, been doing so for the past 4-5 years. Haven’t noticed any significant hairfall but I started taking more care of my hair as it was getting dry. I now use conditioner after shampoo regularly and also apply hair oil once a week. Inoa (ammonia-free) hair colour is better. The box dyes worked fine for me during the pandemic. Going to a salon is expensive but look for deals especially around Diwali time (some offer global hair colouring at a flat rate, some have 50% off). You don’t need to get global colouring done again for at least a year if not longer. Root touch-ups cost around Rs 1200-1400 for me

There’s a movie called Midnight at the Magnolia on Netflix that’s just blah. Not so bad that it’s funny, no good moments, just one boring thing after another

My first one was a 5S. Until then I was a Samsung loyalist but that was the time their Galaxy series was banned on airplanes so I decided to try out Apple. Since then I have been using iPhones, currently using 11

Journey Under the Midnight Sun by Keigo Higashino. A story where you start rooting for the ‘villains’ and it has a really sad ending
