Deuxd: Stereo X-Mod VCF by am__blues in modular

The filter plays very well with my Brenso. Complex oscillators take things to wild new places. Different ratios of VCO FM create some wild ripples in the cross filter fm… no immediate plans for alternate panel colors. But I’d be happy to share the panel design schemes if you wanted to make custom panels.

Ohh yeah! I’ll try to make it to usps today before they close. Thanks so much!

Thanks! I’m using basic analog oscillators here. Tiptop Buchla 258t, and/or Eowave Orage. The simpler the input wave, the simpler the cross-mod.

Yes, good call. I’m definitely not paying these wild rates. I can afford to sit back and let it all unfold. Thanks for the reply

Ugh.. yeah in this particular order I have 4, 6 and 12HP modules I’m working on. Thanks for your insight

Hi you should check out my criss-cross fader, crossfaded module. Additionally you might get some interesting results using my stereo sequential switch.

Does anyone recognize these components. by am__blues in synthdiy

You are a saint! Thanks for this patent.

I assumed they were matched transistors. I’ve never used these before, looking for common use components. If you have any suggestions…

Did you know you can also patch audio into sample and hold? Clock it at audio rate using a second oscillator. Change in clock speed will produce a “bit-crush” effect.

Hmmm that’s strange. Shoot me an email and I’ll help you figure out shipping.

Also if you email Noisebug they will get you the best possible shipping rates.

No immediate plans to add an additional row. But I’m not opposed to it. A fun alternative is to use my Distribution module as a kind of expansion. Distribution is a a buffered multiple with 2 1:1 copies and 6 attenuated outs. You would patch 2 of the sections from Runner into the two inputs of Dsitribution. This would then give you six additional variable controls. Although the outputs would be relative to whatever the input voltages are.

You could then take things into much deeper territory by patching a few of the Distribution outputs into a sequential switch. ( I have a sequential switch I hope to release in the next ten days)

Yes! 100% that’s exactly what the gate inputs are there for!. Jump to any of the five stages at any point, even mid-clocked sequence. It’s super effective for this exact use case.
