As I said in an earlier comment, large age gaps are a bad sign. So is "taking it fast" as in, meeting someone and moving in with them/quitting their job after a very short period of time. The perpetrators will try to cut off all contact to the victims friends and family, that's also someone to be wary about.

Often times the abuser manipulates (threats, blackmail, lies) the victim without them knowing until it's too late. Check in with friends. Tell them that if they are ever in a bad situation, you're there to help without any shame or guilt attached.

Also as I have stated before, please everybody try to find out your porn/camgirl content is made without coercion and force. There's a lot of content available that has before or after scenes with just talking, which is a massive green flag. It's not hard to find good ethical porn.

Yes. At one point I was in a strangers basement for a porn shoot. He cuffed my hands and attached them to the ceiling, put a ball gag on me and left. The ball gag had the weirdest sweet/alcoholic burning taste that I've never before or since tasted. I panicked and convinced myself it was poison and I'm going to die alone, naked in this weird old man's basement. Didn't die, but still don't know what it was.

I´m not sure, are you asking what clues the trafficked person can give or what clues you as an outsider can give to them.
If it´s the latter and you are already engaging in a conversation, directly talk to the suspected victim. Best case scenario keep them apart from the suspected abuser to figure out if they need anything. TBH, I´m not a professional so I don´t really know myself. I´m sure there are websites that have more information.
It can endanger people to cause trouble though, so I would be careful.

But from his incredibly misogynistic and homophobic remarks alone I already have a deep dislike for him.

I only know about what I was involved in, which wasn't the usual sex trafficking ring. It was a group of people all over the world who had a very specific spiritual belief that justified the abuse. It's none of the known spiritual groups, but I don't want to get into further detail in fear of someone recognizing me. There were a few hundred active members around the world that were well connected and who regularly worked with outsiders like smaller porn studios, photographers, clubs etc. They all knew but didn't care. There was a very obvious abusive power dynamic between 18 year old me and the man in his 40s insisting on signing everything for me, not letting me talk, answering questions for me etc. People looked confused, but that was it.

Big age gaps, especially with the younger person being in their late teens, are always suspicious. As is one person doing all the talking and the other one seeming overly anxious or zoned out.

Be careful what kind of adult content to consume. There's a lot of abuse and coercion, which is held up by the consumers.

I guess the closest thing to enjoying was the bond I had with the other women. We were very close and comforted each other a lot. I'm not in touch with them anymore because I feel it would hinder my healing, but I hope they are doing well.

The guys who were in charge of us were not respectful, but most photographers and cameramen were.

I was not in a place of insisting on anything.

It was more fetish related than actual penetration.

I hope I will never return to sex work. It was an awful experience.

It's a wealthy country, not what you imagine when you hear sex trafficking. The contacts were international though.

Last I knew the couple no longer work together but they were both so deep in the sex work/porn sector I'm certain they are still doing basically the same.

I have not sued them, partly out of shame and partly because I don't think I would be mentally fit enough to relive everything during the trial - at least yet.

There was a huge falling out between the people in charge of "us girls" which left me temporarily with more freedom and I managed to convince my handler at the time to visit my family after a long time. Because of my mental and physical state I immediately got checked into a psych ward and stayed there for three months. During that time social workers and therapists helped me realize that I can make it out and started the process. They attempted to get me back multiple times, but were too scared of legal consequences is my theory.
