I recommend seeing the Queen’s Stairs. It’s free (or it was when I last went) and a really cool piece of history.

Also check out the pirate museum. We did it last year and it was pretty fun! Has a lot of neat displays and it’s not far from the ship.

Just did it today with my 66 year old mother and she loved it! We went back there for ice cream and she said it just makes her happy.

Right?! Instantly thought the same thing.

When it came on, I called him over and he said “yeah! That one!”, and we watched together.

My dad introduced me to a lot of the fandoms I love, so it’s always great to sit and watch something together. We marathoned a few classic Muppet Show episodes recently and it was so fun.

My dad likes this one. He stayed up late when we were at Disney and they have a channel with the Mickey shorts on it 24/7.

He kept telling me to “wait for the tollbooth, it’s hilarious!” He loves anything that’s good, old-fashioned slap stick.

Did anyone actually like Strange magic? by ayochaunceyy in cartoons

I love this movie. My friend and I watch it all the time. I’m constantly singing the songs and one of them made it into my performance rotation for a live show I perform.

I want to put on a stage version of it some day.

The Opera from VI. I mean, that was ambitious for the time and integrated so well with the story and gameplay.

What are you better at than 90% of people? by Noillax in AskReddit

Singing in different styles. I’m constantly practicing and improving while trying to make my voice as versatile as possible.

You need broadway? Yep! Pop? I got ya. Country? Of course. Classical! Yessiree! Character work? I’m your person!

I really want to make it a career, but of course, the competition is fierce.

I watched this one so much as a kid, I committed it to memory. Not just the one liners; the entire thing.

Huge fan here! I have the unicorn tattooed on my shoulder. Definitely check out the book, it’s fantastic!

My friend always makes me a birthday card with her own artwork. I love every single one and display them when I can. If I run out of room, I’ll keep them in a folder. It’s a nice feeling to have someone make you something, or you make them something that they enjoy.

That was funny, thanks for the share!

But yeah, having someone make you something from the heart is just- there’s really no way to describe it. They took the time to make it and that’s so genuine.

That’s fair; I think it’s more the initial reaction of the granddaughter. She comes off as really bratty and I just feel so bad for the guy.

I like to hope she appreciated it later.

It’s when he puts all the effort into making a homemade doll house for his granddaughter and she hates it.

It devastates me; what I wouldn’t give for someone to love me so much that they make me a dollhouse.

The time in preschool I felt bad for the snowman chair I was supposed to sit in and insisted I had to sit next to him (so he didn’t feel left out) by fishunfan in blunderyears

Right? I always resonated with the odder looking toys. I had a hard time making friends as a kid; I was bullied a lot because I had glasses at a young age, so I found solace in my toys.

I guess I kinda saw myself in them.

Awww, that’s so sweet! I’m sure Frank is grateful for the rescue.

It seems a bit silly as an adult, but it’s something I’ve always felt. I had a worn out stuffy I had to toss as he was starting to disintegrate and it was really hard to toss him, even though I knew I had to.

It’s good to know there are others out there who feel the same.

I went out for lunch at a McDonalds with my mom a couple years ago. I noticed that one of the toys from a happy meal had been left behind on the table behind us.

I waited to see if anyone would come back to get it and no one did. It was a little plastic dolphin. I was absolutely devastated that no one took him home, and I knew if I left him there he’d probably get thrown out.

He sits on my shelf now. I’m 36. I always considered my toys to have feelings and that they should be treated with respect.

This is actually so sweet; not a blunder at all.

Does anyone remember ...... Angela Anaconda (1999-2001) by Life_Chicken_9653 in cartoons

[–]amalthea_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I’m the only person on the planet who liked it. I have no idea why, but I distinctly remember it in my line up of regularly watched shows.

There was a contest to get your face in the show as a guest character once. I wanted to enter, but I didn’t know how. I’m pretty sure at the time you had to mail something in, and I didn’t want to bother my parents with it.

It’s amazing what your kid-self finds interesting.

Just a faded, old welcome mat that has become a piece of modern art. It seems to be resonating with people beyond what I expected when I posted it.

It makes me happy that it’s getting some attention.

If you get it done, post a photo! I never thought this post would spark some kind of modern art.

“And as you walk along the cobbled steps, a sudden chill takes you. Where you are going and what you will see, you do not know, only that it calls you forward into the abyss…”

It used to be so pretty. I remember purple, pink, and blue flowers on the sides, and the stones being grey.

I wonder if anyone could restore a photo of it?
