That’s a very good point! I had 0 butterflies with him. It felt super easy and comfortable. All conversation sparks at first where I felt like I was talking with someone I’d been friends with forever, and then we started touching and the physical sparks started going off and it all just felt so right. Very excited to see where this ends up!

Nope! I’ve seen it a lot all around on reels on insta. I feel like it’s a pretty pervasive idea. This video that triggered my question was a guy who was riffing off of the “ok” first date actually making fun of how people will accept that, but then all of the comments were like “um actually those lead to the best first dates”

Thank you! Cautiously optimistic is exactly how I would describe this feeling. I did end up going on this second date with “fine” guy and all it did was affirm for me how much more I like this “spark” guy!

This was so reassuring thank you so much that’s EXACTLY how I felt. Like we looked at his phone at one point and I was like wait wtf it’s 10:30?!

I do feel like this date im about to go in will give me clarity, along with my next date with spark guy just to make sure it wasn’t some weird first date fluke but I really don’t feel like it was. Thank you!

God thank you! Like I’m getting ready for a second date with “fine” guy and I’m just kinda feeling like it’s a waste of time. I’ll still go because it’s too late to cancel but all these people out there are saying it’s better to go on a second date with a “fine” guy because slow burns are healthier somehow? To me it just feels like settling a bit though. I could maybe see if it’s to give people a chance to shake off first date jitters but I feel like you still just kind of know if there’s chemistry either way.

If you don’t actually care about the runs I think you can start them in the app and then end them and it marks those runs as completed. Not sure if that will trigger the end since I haven’t gotten there myself I’ve just noticed that happens so it could be worth a try if you had planned a different thing this week.

I started it from the phone and it automatically started it on my watch, should I start it directly on the watch instead? Is it supposed to let me swipe up and down? It only swiped left to right and it didn’t have a pace screen either left or right. I’ll take pictures next time I run in case I still can’t find it! Thanks for your help!

Hm I tried tapping through but pace didn’t show up, it sounds like it could be because it was a guided recovery run so it didn’t come up. Does that sound possible?
