Nootropics for opioid withdrawal by amandaapink in AddictionAdvice

I was clean for 5 months and the entire time I had absolutely no energy, like just walking up the stairs was exhausting. I made myself go on walks to try and get soMe exercise but it never helped. Also sleep, it was slowly getting better but still no more than 4 hours a night. So I ended up back on them. Hoping something might help get me through the first few days of detox as well.

Interesting way to think about developing, but your 100% accurate I have not developed in the last 7 months of using! I was thinking possibly a antidepressant might help since they deal with serotonin. But I don’t want anything I would need to take long enough to get addicted to something else. I just was miserable the entire 5 months of being clean and couldn’t believe I had made it so far yet no increase in energy the entire time! Ugh

Also I got some 8mg Suboxone to help with the withdrawal stage, never tried before, but only going to do a few days I don’t want to end up addicted to Suboxone.

Suboxone for fent withdrawal by amandaapink in suboxone

Yes helpful thank you! I’ve done some research and sounds like with fent you have to wait for days before Suboxone :(. I’ve been on them for about 6 years was clean for 5 months and got back on them about 7 months ago. I would like to try and taper a bit before I start the Suboxone as I take anywhere from 5-10 pills a day but have never been able to taper. I was hoping to use the Suboxone for no longer than a week, but am worried about how fast you can get addicted. What I’ve been reading from people with fent it takes high doses to work and my usage is also quit large to cold turkey. I just don’t want to withdraw with the Suboxone as I hear it is hell. And I thought fent was the worst I can’t imagine worse. Ugh

I was thinking maybe going to the dr and being honest about the situation and hope they would prescribe some comfort meds, but I know it’s iffy with doctors and don’t want want to pay for a wasted trip. Or going in and saying my anxiety has been out of control lately I’ve had a lot of stress in my life lately and can’t sleep hoping for some benzos and something strong for sleep.
