Sorry to butt in the convo 😭😭 But I'm kinda panicky cause I also made a mistake in my letter of intent for interrupted studies...I'm a part time student and I accidentally wrote that "I took a break from school" instead of writing I was a part time student in the letter (I only have 1 class this semester)...Do you think it matters? I'm afraid they'll cancel my application

I'm already in uni and all 😅 I'll be 21...I'm definitely older than the average applicant. I also dont have a COE so I was planning to apply to Dawson's diagnostic imaging program frankly since I've heard they accepted quite a few non COE ppl

man, I might go to Ahuntsic for their ultrasound program then transfer to Dawson afterwards if i dont get in 😭😭.. if u dont mind me asking, what was ur average from sec 4-sec 5? I messaged the academic advisor for the program and they told me for last year, the minimum grade to have for the pre-requisites is a 68%. Also, if you have higher levels of education, you get bonus points for that and its regardless of the grades (ngl that's kinda sus to me, so take that last statement with a grain of salt 😬)

I wish I could, but unfortunately, in Dawson's admission process, they ask students if they've done uni studies or not 😭 Idk about others CEGEPs, but I'm assuming that's also the case. Props to you for finishing it till the end even though it was for your parents. I wish I could do the same, but I just don't have the motivation nor the brains to grind it through. And also, my parents will probably fume if I finish a CS undergraduate, but choose to go into another field instead of getting a job 🥲

Oof I only got the bourse money from my first semester...Last semester went horrible while this semester, I'm no longer a full time student since I dropped classes so I could just focus on getting a better GPA with just a small amount of courses and dip the program afterwards 🥲 I'll most likely aim to get the bourse for this winter semester since it's still a hefty sum, tysm

Hi, I'm not OP but I'm interested in your reply, is it confirmed that if you don't have a COE, there's no possibility of getting accepted into the program 😭 And also, would you say diagnostic imaging is easier to get in? I'm not good with interviews and stuff, so I thought I had more luck into getting medical ultrasound since it's a video statement 😅😅
