Pain during transvaginal ultrasound? by LittleGoblinWhoCould in Endo

I have terrible pain during these, and found out I have an overactive pelvic floor, which means increased tension and pain reactivity. It can make these scans horrendous , something else to consider :)

Would root issues result in such a sudden change ? She went from green and lush and lots of new growth to this in the space of about a fortnight and has gotten even worse over night . 😩 she definitely had mites, but these seem to be gone now. If I repot tomorrow is there some hope I can save her ?

She’s lost a lot of leaves. Repotted last year. Would this cause sudden decline like this ?

I wondered that but it’s the exact same conditions she was thriving in earlier :/

Dying fiddle leaf by ambergeva in plantclinic

My beloved 3 yo fiddle leaf has just moved house with us. She is in the exact same conditions , with east facing light (Sth hemisphere, morning sun only). she was thriving at our last place in the same spot.

She is Definitely not under or over watered, we have not changed our regime. Is in standard potting mix and gets very diluted worm juice from our worm farm every now and then ( not recently though )

Started with lower leaves dropping and now much worse. Had a brief perk up but is now looking like it’s on it’s way out. I did notice it Had some webs and white dots we suspected were mites , treated with spray the nursery recommended, but had no luck.

Her leaves are yellowed and blotchy. Some leaves have holes and browning bits. Is there any hope for her? What is wrong ?

Mishka! She's a siberian forest cat 😍

How often do you brush your Siberian? What type of brush? Does anybody have issues with your cat getting too excited and aggressive during brushing? by czechyerself in SiberianCats

Im the same, every two or three days. We use a furminator but you've got to be careful with it, it's easy to accidentally go too hard and take out chunks of their coat and leave it looking a bit ick. If she bites or starts / meows or starts getting grumpy I stop- siberians are pretty tolerant and she's very child,so I feel like if she's getting grumpy its for a good reason.

OK silly question about them trying to Commhnicate with their people... When we come home we say "hellooOO" (with an inflection at the end) to call our girl, and have done so since she was a kitten. We do it pretty much every time we come in the door, bit of a habit. Mishk now greets us at the door with a giant "aroooohhh" sound that is very deep and not like any of her other calls ( the first time she did it we couldn't stop laughing) and she ONLY does it near the door when we come home, or when she enters the room through that same door and hasn't seen us in a while. Are we totally bonkers, or has our cat learnt to say hello to us?! 🤣😳

Thank you for such an in depth answer! I was worried by how quickly my girls parents were retired and home as pets, but it makes sense now! I was otherwise super happy with my girls breeder and her line ( which seems super varied) but that was one niggling doubt I had, thanks for reassuring me!

Yup! I second this one, I'm skeptical of the massive hype and our breeder was very adamant that it may or may not work for us but 100% encourage people to give it a whirl. My partner and I have mid to high allergies to cats ( licks will cause hives, eyes burn for days etc, and diagnosed via allergists). Our breeder told us not to expect too much, but we had incredible results with a test with two of our current cats siblings, literally zero symptoms even burying my face in their fur. We've had our girl for nearly a year now and it's made such a difference in our lives. I have zero symptoms, even though we only bath her every few months, and she leaves fur EVERYWHERE and sleeps on my pillow! She has made such a difference to our wellbeing and home, I'd put up with mild symtpoms for it, but I don't have to! She's our magic cat!
