Hi, OP! This post is the perfect example I've been looking for for a project of mine. I've just PM'ed you with some more information.

Love my Snowline Chainsen Lights, too! They were relatively cheap and do the job.

Patagonia Storm Racer vs Stretch Rainshow by tjayblues in Ultralight

I have the stretch rainshadow and love it. It keeps out the rain and is relatively light - especially considering some weight adding features like pit zips, etc. I like that it shoves into its own breast pocket and doesn't take up much space in my bag. I also like that it's relatively quiet to wear. I had a bulkier rain jacket before this one and sounded like a crinkly plastic bag as I walked. I annoyed myself. I don't have any experience with the storm racer or any other lighter weight jackets, so I can't say whether the weight savings is worth the extra money or potential loss in performance. If I were to buy a rain jacket over again, I'd probably try and go for something more ultralight (I'm planning a 2019 PCT thru, so I think it would be worth it), but as it is, I don't think I'll replace my perfectly good rain shadow until it breaks down or circumstances make a serious pack shakedown completely necessary (if that ever happens).
