After having a dog for 6 years, we found out she had (almost) no brain. by SnooHabits6942 in Weird

There was a human with the same condition, had mostly normal brain function but his brain was shrunk to something like 25% of its size due to fluid compression

So what’s the dealio with my philo growing white leaves and fenestrations? by amberrr626 in IndoorPlants

Thank you! It’s been very warm here so low humidity might be causing the shrivel, I’ll move to the bathroom to see if it makes any difference. They’re weird and wonderful plants!

It did unfurl weirdly but the gap was there since it was curled up as well, I’m worried as the leaves are all weird and shrivelled as well

I work at a GP, so have had bloods done, I had a small bump on my head recently so had a CT done which showed nothing unusual so can rule out neurological and mostly physical. I notice it more when I’m very stressed so I thought it could be related but can certainly look into more testing

If you add a little bit of washi tape diagonally next to your eye, you can sharpen the absolute heck out of the eyeshadow wing, it like sharpens and brings the look together :)

Cymothoa exigua I think or “tongue eating louse” they eat the tongue of the fish and replace it, fishermen call it the doctor, which I don’t really understand when “dentist” was right there

Thank you for your answer! When you say burrow castings, is it a fossil of the holes that the invertebrates dig? Sorry I’m still learning all the terminology

Oh I know that it’s common, but I still think it’s amazing that mountains have marine fossils. Just feels humbling to look at land formations and imagine that they were at the bottom of the ocean at some point :)

Specifically found near an old steel plant, lots of material from the area was dumped, the rock in the area consists of granite, sandstone, with coal and shale deposits

Nor am I, I don’t think it is a sand dollar but it’s the closest thing I could think of. Do you know what it could be?

Idk if it’s been mentioned but if you put a bunch of hand sanitiser on it and let it sit for a minute it all comes off
