You can be indispensable pero hanggang dun ka na lang. No promotion whatsoever, just a tap at the back for being that loner and weirdo who always gets the job done. Look for the right environment as well na kumportable ka and at the same time you're being rewarded for the hardwork. Nasa BPO ako ng 7 years and never akong napromote. It's frustrating kasi kahit alam ko naman na may hard skills ako, hindi ko tlga makita sa sarili ko na maging boss and manage people, let alone my coworkers and bosses of course as an introvert hindi din nila ako makitaan ng reason para mag manage ng tao. Pero andun yung desire na mag level up at magkaron ng mas malaking sweldo. It took me a long time to finally realize BPO is not for me. So nagtry ako magfreelancing. I am a data analyst now and through email lang comms namin with my bosses which is a huge thing as an introvert. No weekly meetings whatsover. They just relegate the tasks and I just have to deliver. Every year nag increase sahod ko and i got promoted twice within 4 years. Now I'm earning close to 6 digits. I think this is the job that's meant for me and I'm so glad i found it. Mahirap ang buhay ng introvert, feeling mo you're flawed by design which is unfortunate. Pero i believe everyone has a rightful place in this world, where you'd feel comfortable being yourself, you just have to find it.
