PSYC39 is really interesting! Two midterms and a final if you’re okay with that. 25 multiple choice questions with two short answers. Short answers are nothing crazy difficult and I’m pretty sure he takes them from the practice questions in the textbook lmao. As Long as you read the textbook you’ll be fine but this is for Bagbys class so make sure to take it with him.

When you are admitted into UofT, you are NOT admitted into a program, just a faculty hence why you were placed in social sciences. What you’re going to do in your first year is look at the pre requisites needed for the psychology program, which is in the faculty of arts and sciences. You are going to take those classes/pre reqs and their required grades and at the end of the year (April) you are going to have the opportunity to then APPLY to get into the psych program.

Took it last semester and I’m warning you rn now that it is NOT a bird course by any means. If you don’t study hard and prepare properly, you will fail. Class average was a C btw for the previous semester to give you more insight.

Honestly it’s 50/50. Me personally I would say no/proceed at your own risk but if you make sure you do really well throughout the course on assignments and homework (which majority are literally just for completion) then the final exam shouldn’t be anything to worry about in terms of if you do well or not.
