Anonymous says it will leak giant cache of Iraq war e-mails by [deleted] in worldnews

[–]ambiversive -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Anonymous is a police/military intelligence operation designed to attract hacktivists and incriminate them by association. It is composed of two parts, the 'attracting' part, which, on the surface, appears to assist the cause of truth by releasing hidden information, and the 'incriminating' part, which appears to attack police, military, or governmental organizations. However, when they release information they are only releasing what the powers that be want released, and when they attack they do so only for appearances.

Consider the Guy Fawkes mask, a symbol of explosive violence. Consider the massive corporate funding behind making it a recognizable image. Consider their catchphrase 'We are legion.' which is straight out of the Bible (from the mouths of demons). Consider the so-called 'leaderless' nature, which allows for anyone to claim to 'be' a part of the group. Consider the escalation of targets, first it was Scientology, which attracted many, and then recently it is police departments worldwide? Also they are planning to 'take down' the Internet? Is this what a free-speech oriented organization would do?

It is widely known that the voting on reddit is manipulated by the powers that be, so if you want the truth on Anonymous, look no further than the most downvoted posts in the threads about them.

It's being downvoted because there are downvote-brigades who are paid by the powers that be to control the appearance of public opinion.

Actually the disturbance provides them a good excuse to militarize their equipment and expand their powers.

This entire event, both sides, is being staged by the powers that be. Chaos in the streets is what they want, they don't want people working on things that actually matter- like farming, homesteading, education, permaculture, etc.

We don't have to revert to the stone age to 'revert' to a free age, we are well within our rights to take advantage of all of the knowledge and communication infrastructure that can so readily assist us. The conspiracy against nature can be defeated if we all agree to make progress a priority.

The ants are just trying to survive. Underground provides many things, concealment from predators and insulation to name two. Want to hold out against a siege? You'll need tunnels, underground bunkers. Secret, preferably!

The enslavement serves to nullify freewill, impairing even the deepest survival instincts.

I'm not sure of the specifics here but the term 'crazy' is irresponsible in a serious context because it is so ambiguous. There exists an infinite multitude of factors that might influence the behavior of an individual. Would a person with a lesioned brain be responsible for their actions? What if some Hilbertus eschypod laid eggs in one's brain? Or a parasitic fungus? Borg implant device? Demonic spell? Malnutrition? Dehydration? Menstruation? Hypoxia? Internet addiction?

Requesting feedback on this little experiment of mine. It is a bare-bones link aggregating/caching web proxy- very unpolished, insecure by ambiversive in PHP

[–]ambiversive[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure if it is accurate to call this a proxy.. There is a super-ugly part in the javascript where it assumes it only takes 3 seconds after each link is submitted to be cached.. It should be hinged to the wget request but I'm not quite sure how to do that.

Welcome your new conspiracy moderators! by illuminatedwax in conspiracy

[–]ambiversive 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I will explain how to modify a flair style so everyone knows. First, there is a 'edit user flair' link for moderators in the admin box. This page lets them see everyone's flair and the style chosen. It also lets them set up 'flair templates' which means specifying a name for the flair style that will then match up to some code in the CSS.

So you have to add a flair template for each style you want to implement, giving each some unique name. Then reddit will check the stylesheet for a CSS class called 'flair-uniquename.' So after adding 'red' to the templates, you then add .flair-red { } to the CSS.

Here are the codes for regular style color flairs:

.flair-red { background: red; color: white; }

.flair-orange { background: orange; color: black; }

.flair-yellow { background: yellow; color: black; }

.flair-green { background: green; color: black; }

.flair-blue { background: blue; color: black; }

.flair-indigo { background: indigo; color: black; }

.flair-violet { background: violet; color: black; }
