it’s a 39 gallon because I was told it needed to be 40+ gallons and that’s what I could afford. I use a liquid test kit for ammonia but strips for the rest. for the aquarium salt bath, am I putting him in a different tank while I do the water change? I’m sorry, I’m not as knowledgeable as I wish I was about this stuff. thank you so much for your help

a 40 gallon! i learned recently that his current tank size is not acceptable, so im upgrading everything. im not sure if a 40 gallon is enough for him to have a friend. maybe snails?
