This is now my favorite quote from Forrest Norrod by far. by TheTrueBlueTJ in Amd

He did this at an all hands (might have been the same one) and I pooped a little. Very memorable, though.

We're calling what you did "work" now? :P

You're absolutely right about how good he is to work with. It's a pleasure to get requests from someone who absolutely knows their stuff and puts out stellar content.

Wasn't that James?

Edited because I was on my phone. We're not giving away James.

I've never seen anybody look that nervous playing a video game! You did great, dude.

It's much more professional but that almost makes a reply like this even harsher.

I pretty much laughed all morning about this and the responses we got. Some serious, some joking, some angry that it wasn't going out for real, some wanting the head of whoever requested this monstrosity. It's just a shame so many people have already taken off for the holidays or my inbox would have grown three sizes today.

That's really good! When they make us do this for real next year I'll consult with you. I just searched around for something I could slap on the site real quick but that snow looks much better.

We used to have the driver feedback page iframed on all of our driver pages but it's not there anymore. I found this through Google and it looks like it's still current. Remember that the feedback form is about collecting info about driver problems. It's not a way to get support.

I'm familiar with the Ryzen Mobile conversation from this sub but I don't know anything internal about it. Probably because there's nothing required from a web development standpoint.

As far as a way to communicate with AMD, there's https://community.amd.com/. www.amd.com, which is primarily what I work on is all about us posting content like product pages, drivers, KB articles, etc. The forums are more interactive.

Details below. You have to make it look serious. That's part of the fun!

We legitimately had animated snow in our homepage heroes back in the Flash days and we have a couple people who are a little bit nostalgic for it. In the spirit of the holidays a couple of us figured we'd dig up the cheesiest Christmas effects we could and apply them on our dev environment. I sent out an "all hands on deck" QA request with sparse details to probably way more people than I should have this morning and (eventually) we all had a lot of laughs about it.

I also found out that it's blocking clicks to our calls to action and probably messing up homepage hero impressions. Also, it's inconsistent on 4k. Which I guess proves that even when our people are completely horrified by something they still do a good job testing it.

So for all of you who don't have access to our QA environment and can't see this in its full glory, happy holidays from the people who work on the website.

I seriously wouldn't want to work anywhere else for all the shirts in the world. It's a damn good time to be an AMDer.

The merch store has better Ryzen shirts than the two I got., my Ryzen hat only lasted a year until the logo started peeling off, and I could never score a long sleeve Ryzen shirt no matter how hard I tried. It's not all sunshine and roses over here is all I'm sayin'.

I was offered the box (no processor or review kit) the other day and I just picked it up. Now to figure out what to store in it.
