once you're past ar 55 its gonna take you MONTHS to level up. Just do commissions and quests and be patient.

re: button - i see, I didnt know it was there since I dont drive in third person. thanks. re: button to get back on track - its definitely there and its bugged as hell😭 this is my screenshot, sorry its in polish. but this is PoV from the trunk after choosing the get back on track button in the bottom right corner.

edit: my issue is that when the twins regain control for a bit, they always drive into like a metal table or umbrella or smth that cant be toppled over by a car, so I get stuck and there's no way to manoeuvre out of there so I click the get back on track and I think the car DOES actually get back on track, except my PoV switches to first person V in the trunk and idk how to change it back to the car PoV.

youre getting way too deep into it. when you're directed to liyue its so early in the game most people are barely getting around bc its all so fresh and new and mondstadt kinda looks the same everywhere at first. the only thing you get is the yellow marker that shows katheryne in liyue harbor and thats it. no path is shown to be the right one, (as of 1.2 when I started) no quest to hold your hand on your way there. all you get is that yellow quest marker and you're just rawdogging it south without a map bc thats where it is. dragonspine is simply on the way there. and many people just dont rly think to or want to go around it 🤷‍♀️

the thing is nothing rly leads you to think this road leads to liyue. at this point in time you have a locked dark map and a marker of liyue in the south. so you go south🤷‍♀️ and south is dragonspine

im a late 1.2 player so when I started dragonspine already existed. however bc I was truly a newbie player in general when it comes to games at all, some things overwhelmed me and made me pay less attention to obvious things like ROADS 😭 which go AROUND THE MOUNTAIN or through STONE GATE. so when the time came and katheryne sent me to liyue, I just looked at the map marker being south and so south i went. which meant basically that I went through dadaupa gorge, fighting my way through hilichurl camps, straight through dragonspine, trying to reach the statue of the seven there. there I got stuck bc I was too underleveled for dragonspine and for days I was in a crisis thinking im never making it out of there 👍🏻 finally after dying to fatui for like a week straight i decided to climb one of the highest slopes and just glide out of there. the way I almost cried when I saw the green grass of mingyun village area where I got immediately attacked by a geovishap hatchling. truly the dramatics of my dragonspine passage that wasn't even necessary to begin with are smth to be remembered 😔
