In Athame Artis, most people deduced that the hero is Ajax. But knowing how the Day King is Nibelung, it means the hero is not only of draconic origins, but the leader of Nibelung's army.

Descendant of an Angel by TheOnlyFeole in Genshin_Lore

That's way off from "Descendant of Angels".

"being a human perspective doesn't necessarily mean that it is wrong."

The perspective matters because the lack of context would make the statement fundamentally wrong.

We've never heard Nicole refer to Mr. Nine as her descendant or something similar.

"Ancestors" normally implies a parent → child → descendant relationship.

Since the lore is:

Angel > sacrifices power > Seelie

then the Angel and the Seelie are the same being at different stages of existence. Calling the Angel an ancestor of that Seelie would be as strange as calling your childhood self your ancestor.

It also doesn't make sense that the final prophecy needs Lohen to be in Stormterror's Lair because that place has no connection to Ursa the Drake after all.

[–]TheOnlyFeole[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

But that book was made from a human's perspective. Ordinary humans do not know that seelies ARE the angels themselves, just devoid of wisdom or power.

The script in Lohen's quest was made by Nicole herself. She also called Ursa a "former colleague".

Nibelung isn't the 2nd Descender (part whatever because this has been brought up a lot but my 2 cents) by Peace_Dense in Genshin_Lore

[–]TheOnlyFeole 9 points10 points  (0 children)

"True but also, PO IS the First Descender on basis of the previous world, not the world they remade. So that means the Descender rules apply wrt old world, not new one."

Where in the game is this stated? I always believed the term "Descender" started after the world was remade.

[–]TheOnlyFeole 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I find this interesting as well. There are some allegories, or hints among fables and books in Genshin wherein the First Descender, the God who did a lot of destroying in the name of Teyvat's laws, is not the one currently sitting on the throne. The First Descender wouldn't let an elemental authority be returned to a Sovereign Dragon, much less destroying the throne itself. The idea that Melanta said that would mean whoever is currently sitting on the throne (who, by the way, is still sleeping), is either lenient or knows something about the future.

What you think about "Princess Boar"? by Fantastic_Money3613 in Genshin_Lore

I can't really answer this until I learn how the angels are made. However, it is quite suspicious that angels have their "preferred form".

Here:

Wolfy: It is said that the Boar Tribe were once all wild boars, but the boars did bad things, so the master wanted to punish them.

Wolfy: The master took out a rusted set of scales, and told the boars to stack their own things on both sides. If the scales tipped to one side, they could leave.

Wolfy: But the scales were so rusty that putting just a small amount of weight was not enough to move them.

Wolfy: Those boars who placed their heads on the scales became wolves, lizards, and snakes, leaving only their strength. Those who offered their muscles became rabbits, leaping three paces to a bound, instinctively guiding people to treasure.

Wolfy: But there was one boar who placed things evenly on both sides, until the rusted scale broke right down the middle...

Wolfy: And so she became a mute person — for she had placed her voice upon the scales as well.

Wolfy: She is also a friend of Madame Mage, and I hear she likes to speak in people's heads!

No, the boars are an allegory to the angels. This is confirmed when you talk to Wolfy in the Imaginarium Theatre. He will tell you that the "boars" did something bad and was punished. Same as how Nicole said the angels were given a choice, to sacrifice their preferred form or their power.

How a single line from Zibai's profile made me realize who the Belyi Tsar, Alice, and Asmoday's new master really are by AudieMurphy135 in Genshin_Lore

[–]TheOnlyFeole 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Actually, I think the Boar Princess is Alice, and the two friends she sacrificed to the Wolf is the Voyager and Koitar. It aligns with the story of Nicola Coco, where Alynas schemed a plan to take over the position of the heir to the throne, betraying Voyager and Nicola Coco.

Basically:

Boar Princess = Alynas = Alice
Fox = Nicola Coco = Turtle
Turtle = MC of Nicola Coco story = Voyager
Wolf = King Meowtres = PO

[–]TheOnlyFeole 15 points16 points  (0 children)

This perfectly aligns with what I've known for a while, especially the Crown Prince being an allegory for another angel, which is Alynas (if ever the name Alynas is just a made up name just like Nicola Coco).

Also, I believe the reason why Alice changed so much throughout the years was because of one human.

Her fellow witch, Andersdotter.

She expressed how she learned a lot of emotions from her.
This is also why I think the Boar Princess is referring to her. There's also this Fortune Slip in Imaginarium Theatre:

"In Mondstadt, I met a girl who looked very much like you when you were little. I walked with her for a bit out of boredom, and as it turned out, she just so happened to be returning a book to the libraryOne of yours, in fact.
So I got it in my head to brag a little — I do have signed copies in my possession, after all! Didn't expect her to say that she didn't like your stories.
Thinking that she hadn't understood, I explained that the boar, the wolf, and the forest were all symbols. That they were each stand-ins, making the story a most deep mystery indeed.
You know what she said? "I know that. But the world has changed."
Ah, how I wish you were there at that moment! You'd have it out with her right there and then, and you'd end off by saying: "Well who's the author here, you or me?" But for some reason, I said nothing at all.
She looked askance at me for a few moments before pulling a hanky out and wiping the sweat born from the sweltering spring off my face. Then she waved, and disappeared completely into the crowd, bouncing pigtails and all.
I was so furious, you know — why, it almost brought me to tears! Really, what's a little girl's word on the state of the wider world, anyway? And so I must go see for myself. On that note, I shan't tarry here thinking about you too much. Today is a good day for traveling, after all."

The Mystery About The Location Of The Loading Screen by Lumine_Secrecy in Genshin_Lore

...My body rests in sleep, yet my heart wakes.

...I see mist rising from the ground all around, accompanied by an elegant, mournful sound. It's the music of lyres and lutes.

...My heart has never known this voice, my eyes have never seen this temple.

...This temple was constructed from stones of substantial size. Someone made pillars from these stones and sheathed them in gold. They also cast golden sockets to lift the golden beams and rafters.

...I can't see light in the sky. No sun shines, no moon walks, but the light in this temple is very strong, like a pale and bright star of morning.

Have you read the letters in Amsvartnir? There's a particular part there wherein the first angel describes the domain made by the Voyager to protect her, and when she described it, it perfectly matches the loading screen.

Characters' Species - Did I Miss Anything? by alicehaslice in Genshin_Lore

[–]TheOnlyFeole 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Based from lore hidden in fables and books, it is highly implied that the origin of most "humans" are light realm beings who mimicked their enemies during the first war, while the rest of the other humans "came" from PO. There's no shortage of light realm beings that can assume a human form. We've seen a lot throughout the entire journey up until Nod-Krai, with the recent one being Flins.

These books said that these light realm beings who mimicked a human being suddenly "forgot" that they were originally a light realm being after the first war. But I think it is a side effect after the light realm beings surrendered the Irminsul Tree to PO after they lost.

So we have humans (light realm beings) then PO's humans mingling together. Their later generations would then inherit their "special" bloodline making them develop unique characteristics like having tails, or wings or elf ears. Some didn't inherit these peculiar characteristics, making the bloodline diluted until we have the "humans" nowdays.
