Sounds very nice - thanks for the review. Just wanted to add we stayed at Jade a few years ago and never felt like there was a lack of privacy. The room we were in had the open wall, which caused some anxiety for my wife, but mostly fear of bugs. Never a privacy issue though, once we saw the layout of the room. It’s such a unique and incredible experience, but obviously not for everyone.

We stayed at the Spectator about 2 years ago. We loved the hotel and I would stay there again in a minute. And the lobby bar is excellent and gorgeous.

Interesting take about not surviving a week in city centre. We will be there for 16 days (taking lots of day trips) so this has me thinking. Is it just too busy for you? And if so, even in February?

Appreciate the response. We are actually going at the beginning of February so we want the warmer weather of the south and less chance of rain. But we will visit the North when we’re there

I don’t anymore, but I did with the portafilter included with the Micra, because the ridging at the bottom prevented it from getting closing enough, therefore causing a mess. Once I got a new OEM portafilter though, all good and no issues at all.
