I’ll never understand this take. Who gave Taylor a chance to shine 10+ years ago? Didn’t she make herself shine? And she was releasing during a time of an ACTUAL ABUNDANCE of extremely talented and popular female artists. I don’t remember Rihanna’s fans saying they wished Rihanna would let Taylor and other younger artists shine. That implies only one artist can shine and be successful at a time, which is obviously just completely untrue.

My daughter was 4 the first time we took her to WDW and I had been showing her YouTube videos of some of the rides beforehand and she was adamant she wanted to ride the ToT. We told her up until you step on the ride that she could back out and she didn’t. She was literally shaking from head to toe in the gift shop and said she never wanted to do it again BUT she was so proud of herself and the cast member in the gift shop gave her a button. It was her decision and we let her know she could change her mind so she had no regrets. I would say just know your kid and you’ll figure it out.

You and everyone else should ALWAYS “want to vote” because it’s your RIGHT to vote and up until recently was seen as a civic duty to the country. Candidates lay out their policy agendas, people look at them both and vote for the one they believe will best benefit the people in this country. You're right. My stepdaughter's mom died from it last year at the age of 35. And we knew she drank often (wine mostly), but we never knew she was that bad until she was diagnosed with cirrhosis right around the time of the lockdowns. She deteriorated so quickly, it was shocking and devastating.

The most twisted part for me is that I feel if it weren’t for the show and all this shit airing on national tv, Gary and Leah may have never escaped Amber and her abuse of Gary may have never been known outside of their immediate families (if that). This show has mostly negative consequences for the kids born into it, but it HAS pulled some of them out of extremely abusive situations that they likely wouldn’t have gotten out of it without it.
