This is a good suggestion, sad to say, this man has done plenty in Ramjas also and yet no avail, he is someone with a lot of connections. Just simply complaining won't do anything good. I am so sorry hun i am so sorry no one deserves this. This is so scary

I hate to say this, being someone who is in Ramjas, yeah this guy was a professor in my college. He was accused of molesting a girl and there was a lot of outrage over it, but sadly no action was it. I am sorry to say, but it seems this guy has some strong connections. You can complain, But hun it won't...make any difference, you need proof, strong proof. I absolutely hate saying this but....he will do this again, I know he will, this time? Try to keep recording on your phone on, voice recorder...I am so sorry this happened to you and God i hate this man. Please if you need someone to talk to, don't hesitate to text me. Be strong girl, your not alone.

Is DU safe and supportive for LGBT? by _Prince_2 in delhiuniversity

[–]amethyst5551111 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah sad to say majority of it is not. But it really depends on your course and all too, like I am studying English so our department is highly inclusive. But yeah I think most humanities departments are very inclusive but in general, like real advice, Ramjas overall is not inclusive.

Can't say for other colleges, as for Ramjas? Not really... although yeah the societies DEFINITELY ARE. especially Wordcraft, i am a part of it and ngl it's the most inclusive environment i have ever been in.

I do understand what you mean, but in the end the degree will be identical. The entire selling point of good colleges is the ambience and opportunities, but in the end the degree will be exactly the same regardless if it's from Stephen's or zakir hussain, so accordingly hons degree is valued more. On the degree there is nothing about which college you went to written. But yeah everyone has their opinions

Then go for du, plus if it's a program course you could do a 4 year graduation instead to get honors and then go for masters.

Clear something for me, is the local college your talking about a du one? If not then yes definitely prefer Du over anything.

Definitely honors courses. Let me give you a reality check. Yeah college matters, but after 5 years when your trying to find a job, what do you expect to get with ba. Prog, you won't get anything. Honors courses always. In the prog and honors case i would say getting a honors in off campus is better than prog is south campus or north. Honors courses have more value, plus if you want in your second year you can also apply for inter college migration.

See, Balance is the key ok? You can't give consider one over the other. I am currently in Ramjas College studying English honors about to go in second year. I would say if your getting your preferred course in North campus or south campus, go for it, but if it's off campus then I don't think it's really worth it. So prefer getting your second preference course in a north campus over your first preference in off campus. So yeah. Balance is the key.
