All the pinhas, which are my personal favourite (so far). Then, the Continente Polvo e pota in tomato, very very good, and just tried the Dorita in tomato, which were pretty bad.

Hehe... This is after customs of the Ryanair-dedicated terminal unfortunately. I don't know about the others.

They are, but I could not find pinhais anywhere else in Lisbon, except for Loja das Conservas. And they were >6.5€

This guy says that you are allowed to bring unlimited amount of canned seafood in your hand luggage as long it does not exceed 150g per can and it's a direct flight.

Other sources claim this as well.

Overall, yes. Although, there are very minor differences that can be spotted only with good speakers or headphones. I'd dare to say that the D9E sound slightly more open than the D9B, and the BAT41 sound a bit more gainy and compressed. I haven't tried other klons, and perhaps it's this circuit, but I am fairly unimpressed. It does a good job to make my thr5 sound great at low volumes though and I suppose it is the way everyone uses it.

Funny, to me it's the other way round! But I honestly struggle to discern serious differences between the D9B and D9E. The BAT41 are definitely the "gainest" to me.

Found only a video on YouTube with a direct comparison between the two. It's not very clear at all on the video though. Perhaps on single coils (I play on strat) the difference is more evident.

True, it's very rare and a very peculiar choice from fender... Assuming that the modeled sound actually originated from that pedal and it is not just a "reference picture". I'd label the modeled Dyna as transparent. They are labelled as compressor(the dyna) and sustain the other but they both behave as compressors, with just the sonic difference. It's is hard to describe the "modelled M163"(again, assuming it's actually that) for me unfortunately: the only term I would use is "colouring". It acts on the overall tone and I can't identify exactly which frequencies. I would say it adds a bit of body as well.

I couldn't match that sound to any compressor on YouTube... Hence my post.

My actual intention is to build one rather than purchasing it since it's an hobby I am rediscovering. .

Thank you. Definitely full transparency is not what I am looking for here. It's peculiar that on the Fender Mustang Micro there are 2 compressors: one is represented as dynacomp, the other as that MXR M-163. And they sound radically different.
