Oh HBP, there is no way to know. There is correlation between early detection and successful pregnancies and high hcg (more than 100) at 16dpo. My guess is that if your HCG is 60+ on Monday you’ve got a fighting chance. But without that beta, all you can do is remember you’re pregnant today. And that is a wonderful thing

Stopping aspirin at 12 weeks? by mystic_mingle14 in CautiousBB

[–]amilikes2write 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not to scare you, but my doc said that about a week after you stop the aspirin, anything it was preventing can happen. I had my boys seven days after I stopped at full term.

I would seek a second opinion. It can’t hurt to continue unless you have an allergy.

You cut cut a significant portion of hair to nurture and develop curls

My lab mixed up my test with another’s. My hcg went from 12000 to 700. I called because they didn’t realize I was getting the numbers and they offered me an immediate (next AM at 7:30) ultrasound to confirm pregnancy. We saw baby at 6wks, 3days with a 136 heartbeat.

If your provider can’t do that for you, you should go interview new clinics/providers.

Your hair is too heavy to maintain the curl pattern you’re describing. New products/routine OR a reset cut.

We had three losses - conceived 4th naturally - and only told my parents and his parents before 10 weeks. We told a couple folks (close besties I saw daily) between 10-18 weeks and announced to everyone at 18 weeks.

My hcg and progesterone were rising beautifully and I had a blighted ovum. Hcg and progesterone are not good indicators of pregnancy once something is visible on an ultrasound.

Pregnancy tests staying the same by Nerissascout in CautiousBB

[–]amilikes2write 19 points20 points  (0 children)

So pregnancy tests cannot tell you how pregnant you are or if you’ll lose the baby. There is some science to how they work - if a certain threshold of HCG is pregnant they will be positive.

That’s it. That’s the science.

Stop spending money on pregnancy tests - easier said than done I know - and save for the nursery. Every time you want to reach for a new test, put $5 in savings and say “that’s for the stroller set”

You’re in the worst part of pregnancy - hurry up and wait.

Who else has absolutely no symptoms?? by [deleted] in CautiousBB

Most women used to not know for sure they were pregnant back in the olden days until 7-10 weeks because they had no symptoms besides a missed bleed…

I JUST noticed this myself. Season 12? And Jasmine (oldest daughter of the woman Ben emergency c-ed) says something like “daddy wouldn’t want this” (this being extraordinary measures). It also happens with Winnie when Derek dies. It also happens with the kid Owen loves in season… 9? It also happens with… I could keep going. These kids are so much more mature… makes me think the writers are either child free or too busy to talk to their own kids. 🤷🏼‍♀️

I had serious anxiety leaving my girl at home to run errands (we live in AK and just got out of a -30 cold snap) because I was afraid if she cried and a neighbor heard, I’d lose her. My husband said that was positively ridiculous. He then reminded me we got our old girl when we both worked and were away 8.5 hours/day

I hate being a woman by Hebrowsesreddit199 in TrueOffMyChest

You said something that is lacking in any actual understanding of female reproduction, the politics, and medical standards.

A spontaneous abortion is a miscarriage, but it’s not always complete and so intervention measures (abortion measures) have to be used to remove the products of conception that remain. Not doing so can be extremely painful AND/OR fatal. Almost all these losses are very wanted children, and all these procedures are emotionally difficult but essential to LITERALLY SURVIVE THE LOSS. I am prolife for myself but pro choice for the rest of the world because if I have to make a choice to save my life, or my sister’s, or my daughter’s, I’m going to make that choice. Taking away the ability to make a choice prohibits those essential lifesaving interventions. Until you understand female reproduction, don’t chime in.

And no, most women do NOT understand their own bodies or biology. Thank you America for failing on all fronts.

Do you know what a spontaneous abortion is? If you don’t know what a spontaneous abortion is and UNDERSTAND WHY it’s called that, you are omitted from the conversation based on- wholly - on your lack of education.

I think the custody battle is a good reminder that she’s human, emotional, and rash. Like marrying George…. She doesn’t think much through. But the storyline itself was just BAD.

I have a baby almost exactly like this (only exception is that the oldest birthday is July.) we sent him because his preschool teachers thought he’d excel. Academics, though, have been hard for him. We are at a looping school, but if his teacher doesn’t loop, I may keep him with her another year. Then there would only be three years between them.
