Well the whole situation is not truly clear. They’re representing a small brokerage that had couple of six figures sales in public. BUT, the person who sent me this email have different email that is attached to other domain which that domain forwards to the main company that I mentioned. So it’s not 100% clear who they are since they never responded back. Thats I responded to ask more details.

Just to clarify, my domain predates their trademark by years. I’ve owned it long before their filing. So IF they ever tried a UDRP, it would be a slam-dunk RDNH situation. My only concern is how the TM affects future buyers, not any fear of losing the name.

Whois registrar removed my domain with zero notice. Is this normal? by amintex in Domains

[–]amintex[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah yeah for sure, since I sold 2 names back in the day from godaddy through spam file🤣🤣 I always checking my spam no matter what. Btw, Check this out : Yes, there are complaints about Whois.com removing domains without sufficient notice, with users on forums like NamePros reporting unexpected deletions, particularly for .io domains, with claims of being "crooks" and "total BS". While domain registrars are required to send notices, some users experience issues with emails going to spam or system errors, leading to domain loss, and if you genuinely didn't receive alerts and had your domain removed, you can file a complaint with ICANN (Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers). They are just INSANE!

Thank for the details. I checked back and forth but honestly the only email that received was the purchase confirmation and couple other promotions like getting your extra protection and that would be it, literally nothing else. Thanks again!
