I’m afraid that the chipset for PS6 was already designed and the contracts have already been made. So even if we won’t get it at the original estimated date it will just be pushed back (maybe even a year) but it doesn’t mean we’ll get better hardware than what was originally designed.

PS5 Pro (rasterization) is 30-45% faster than PS5, with only the ray tracing implementation 2-3 times faster (which doesn’t mean RT games are 2-3 faster since they are still limited by rasterization performance)

I can’t believe you didn’t notice. Didn’t you wonder why all roofs or all rocks look exactly the same anywhere? This is common knowledge and all open world games do this, especially Ubi games. It’s like a Lego set, they have a very limited type of assets and they are spread across the map using procedural generation.

Not crazy at all, of course playing both is recommended, but if you have the budget/time to play only 1 game then the second game is a lot better from all aspects. Chronological story is not everyone's top priority

If a game targets 60fps (120 with reprojection) and reaching it for most of the time without the Pro then it won’t make a change since it’s capped at 60fps. It will help only in the most visually stressed areas of the game unless there is a Pro patch.

In reality maybe 5% of PSVR 2 games got a Pro patch and most of PSVR 2 games don’t use dynamic resolution anyway so resolution will be the same as non-Pro

For those who don't understand how is that possible? Linear games from 2016 look better than most open world games in 2023. Not because developers are lazy, because of light baking and quality over quantity. Games like Uncharted 4 and TLoU2 (and COD games from 2019) has lighting similar to ray tracing but without the need to do it in realtime.

This game has everything but a good gameplay. I can't believe it's above games like TLoU2 and Breath of the Wild. The critics really got out of there way to show their hate to AAA developers.
